It was my Birthday a couple of months ago, which meant that as part of the Yankee Candle Fragrance Family Rewards Scheme I was entitled to a free Medium Jar Candle from either Chesapeake Bay Candles, WoodWick Candles, or Yankee Candle. Well after scrolling through their Website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up a Tangerine & Citron, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what WoodWick Candles say about their Tangerine & Citron.
A Citrus Grove that’s ready for picking. Sweet Tangerine and zesty Citron notes waft from the Branches, while scents of fresh Green Herbs perk up at the base of the Trees. WoodWick Candles Tangerine & Citron also contains top notes of Sparkling Lemon, Clementine and Tangerine, heart notes of Citrus Zest, Green Tea and Fresh Green Herbs, and base notes of Sugar and Sheer Musk.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Clementine, Green Tea, and Sheer Musk, I thought that it had a delicious zesty and herbal yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a Citrus Grove on a boiling hot Summer’s Day. I could definitely smell the Sparkling Lemon, Clementine, Tangerine, Citrus Zest, Fresh Green Herbs, and Sheer Musk, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious zesty and herbal yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Green Tea or Sugar, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.
It’s scent throw.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent throw, as even though this smelt incredibly strong in it’s Jar, it was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.
It’s burn time.
It said that you were supposed to get up to 60 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 65 hours of delicious zesty and herbal yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent out of it.,
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the WoodWick Candles Tangerine & Citron an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious zesty and herbal yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent, it’s scent throw, it’s burn time, and that it crackled whilst it burnt, but I just wish that it had smelt a lot more of Tangerine.
