Yankee Candle have recently released their Cottage Getaway collection, which includes Afternoon Scrapbooking, Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl, and Woodland Weekend Memories, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all three delicious smelling Candles.

The Yankee Candle Afternoon Scrapbooking.

Spend the Afternoon Scrapbooking by the Fire in your Cottage, surrounded by notes of soft Leather, Apple, and glowing Amber. Yankee Candle Afternoon Scrapbooking also contains top notes of Golden Apple, Lemon, Bergamot, Ginger, Nutmeg and Autumn Air, heart notes of Eucalyptus, Leather, Clove and Labdanum, and base notes of Patchouli, Cedar, Amber Embers and Musk.

The Yankee Candle Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl.

The scents of Vanilla, Brown Sugar, Toasted Nuts, and warm Spices blend to create a sweet Autumn delight. Yankee Candle Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl also contains top notes of Cinnamon, Caramel and Clove Bud, heart notes of Nutmeg, Pumpkin Dough and Toasted Pecans, and base notes of Vanilla, Brown Sugar and Warm Musk.

Savour each moment of your Woodland Adventure with notes of soft Amber, Autumn Fruits, and creamy Coconut Milk. Yankee Candle Woodland Weekend Memories also contains top notes of Bergamot, Orange and Pear, heart notes of Jasmine Petals, Vanilla and Coconut Milk, and base notes of Cosy Amber, Woodland Moss and Sandalwood.

The Yankee Candle Afternoon Scrapbooking.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Ginger, Labdanum, and Amber Embers, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Mulled Cider in front of a roaring Log Fire on a chilly Autumn Evening. I could definitely smell the Golden Apple, Lemon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Eucalyptus, Clove, Patchouli, and Amber Embers, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Bergamot, Autumn Air, Leather, Labdanum, Cedar, or Musk, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little,

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Caramel, Pumpkin Dough, and Warm Musk, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly gourmet Pumpkin scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you stew some Pumpkin Flesh to make a Pumpkin Pie. I could definitely smell the Cinnamon, Clove Bud, Nutmeg, Pumpkin Dough, Brown Sugar, and Warm Musk, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly gourmet Pumpkin scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Caramel, Toasted Pecans, or Vanilla, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room, the entire top floor of my House and even some of the downstairs with it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly gourmet Pumpkin scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

The Yankee Candle Woodland Weekend Memories.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Orange, Jasmine Petals, and Woodland Moss, I thought that it had a very strange deep and smokey yet ever so slightly creamy Cedarwood scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dunked some pieces of Cedarwood in a massive Jug of Coconut Milk and then had set them on Fire. I could definitely smell the Pear, Jasmine Petals, Coconut Milk, Woodland Moss, and Sandalwood, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s very strange deep and smokey yet ever so slightly creamy Cedarwood scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Bergamot, Orange, Vanilla, or Cosy Amber, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I was actually a little bit disappointed by it’s scent throw, as even though this smelt really strong in it’s Jar, it was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of very strange deep and smokey yet ever so slightly creamy Sandalwood scent out of it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Afternoon Scrapbooking a nine out of ten, the Yankee Candle Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl an eight out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Woodland Weekend Memories a six out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Afternoon Scrapbooking, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Mulled Cider scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Apple. I really liked the Yankee Candle Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly gourmet Pumpkin scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Cinnamon. I really liked the Yankee Candle Woodland Weekend Memories, as I absolutely loved it’s burn time, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and smokey yet ever so slightly creamy Cedarwood scent, or it’s incredibly weak scent throw.
