The Last Glow Of Summer Means That Autumn Has Finally Arrived | Yankee Candle Glowing Moments Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Glowing Moments collection, which includes Crackling Embers, Snow Kissed Pine, and Woodland Spice, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all three delicious smelling Candles.

The Yankee Candle Crackling Embers.

Rich notes of Charred Wood, warm Spices, and earthy Charcoal evoke the festive spirit of Winter Journeys, where the crackle of Coal and the crisp Air create a cosy, Seasonal Atmosphere. Yankee Candle Crackling Embers also contains top notes of Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Black Pepper and Warm Spices, heart notes of Charcoal Accord, Creamy Jasmine, Amber, Eucalyptus, and Wood Smoke, and base notes of Charred Woods, Cedarwood, Tonka, Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vanilla.
The Yankee Candle Snow Kissed Pine.

Notes of crisp Frosty Air, Iced Lavender, and a wave of Aquatic Freshness combine to capture the cool beauty of a Holiday Journey through a Winter Wonderland. Yankee Candle Snow Kissed Pine also contains top notes of Watery Marine and Icy Snow, heart notes of Fresh Cypress and Icy Lavender, and base notes of White Moss, Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Amber.

The Yankee Candle Woodland Spice.

This fragrance captures the rich warmth of the Season with notes of juicy Plum, Amber, and a blend of Holiday Spices, creating an inviting, cosy atmosphere, perfect for embracing the elegance and charm of the Holidays in every moment. Yankee Candle Woodland Spice also contains top notes of Rich Plum, Velvet Peach and Cherry Jam, heart notes of Warm Cinnamon ,Anise and Clove, and base notes of Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Golden Amber, Sugar Crystals, Vanilla and Musk.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Cardamom, Creamy Jasmine, and Patchouli, I thought that it had a delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly musky Leather scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat in a Leather Armchair by the side of a roaring Fire whilst drinking a Glass of Bourbon on a freezing cold Winter’s Night. I could definitely smell the Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Warm Spices, Charcoal Accord, Amber, Wood Smoke, Charred Wood, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Patchouli, , as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly musky Leather scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Creamy Jasmine, Eucalyptus, , Tonka, or Vanilla, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly musky Leather scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wicks trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly musky Leather scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Icy Snow, Fresh Cypress, andSandalwood, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly grassy Pine scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Pine Tree that’s covered in a thick layer of Snow and Ice on a freezing cold Winter’s Day. I could definitely smell the Watery Marine, Icy Snow, Fresh Cypress, White Moss, Cedarwood, and Sandalwood, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly grassy Pine scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Icy Lavender or Amber, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Velvet Peach, Clove, and Golden Amber, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Plum scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you stew some Plums with a couple of Sticks of Cinnamon on a balmy Autumn Afternoon. I could definitely smell the Rich Plum, Cherry Jam, Warm Cinnamon, Anise, Clove, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, and Musk, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Plum scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Velvet Peach, Golden Amber, Sugar Crystals, or Vanilla, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Crackling Embers an eight point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Snow Kissed Pine an eight out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Woodland Spice a nine out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Crackling Embers, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly musky Leather scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that they had used a Wooden Wick instead of a Cotton Wick so that it had actually crackled whilst it burnt. I really liked the Yankee Candle Snow Kissed Pine, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly grassy Pine scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Eucalyptus. I really liked the Yankee Candle Woodland Spice, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Plum scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
