With me never knowing when i’m going to get an Eczema Flare-up i’ve totally stopped using any kind of Eye Cream, Gel or Serum in an effort to hopefully try and keep the Eczema at bay. Unfortunately though, my Under Eyes always feel dry, dull and rough, which means that i’m constantly on the look out for any kind of Under Eye product that will hydrate my Under Eyes but won’t cause a Flare-up. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released The Hydration Box that contained a Tube of the Skin Gym Eye Fit Brightening Eye Serum that claims to leave you with silky soft, soothed, hydrated and brighter-looking Under Eyes whilst I was scrolling through Instagram last year, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Skin Gym say about their Eye Fit Brightening Eye Serum.
Say goodbye to tired Eyes and hello to a radiant you with the Eye Fit Brightening Eye Serum, a hyper-potent formula packed with Nature’s most powerful Antioxidants.
What it is.
This innovative Serum harnesses the science of Berries to deliver visible results you’ll love.
1. Combining the antioxidant power of Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry and Blackberry to help neutralise Free Radicals, fight signs of aging, and brighten your Under-Eye Area.
2. The lightweight formula goes beyond brightening. It delivers deep hydration with nourishing extracts to combat dryness and leave your Under-Eye Area feeling plump and refreshed.
3. Infused with Niacinamide, it helps brighten Skin Tone, minimise the appearance of dark circles, and improve Skin texture for a smoother, more even appearance.
4. Vegan, cruelty-free, and free from Parabens, Mineral Oils, Formaldehydes, and Sulfates. We care about what you put on your Skin as much as what’s in it.
How to use it.
1. Gently massage a pea-sized amount of Serum around your Under-Eye Area, patting it gently into the Skin for maximum absorption.
2. Apply Morning and Night for optimal results, or use it whenever your Eyes need a boost of hydration and brightening power.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Methylpropanediol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Glycereth-26, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Niacinamide, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Strawberry Fruit Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Silica, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Raspberry Fruit Extract, Blackberry Fruit Extract, açaí Palm Fruit Extract, Bilberry Fruit Extract, Cranberry Fruit Extract, Black Currant Fruit Extract, Blueberry Fruit Extract, Betaine, Camu-Camu Fruit Extract, Japanese Holly Extract, Purslane Extract, Sacred Lotus Flower Extract, Job’s Tears Seed Extract, Peony Root Extract, Orange Peel Extract, Apricot Kernel Extract, Plum Blossom Fruit Extract, Liquorice Root Extract, Peach Kernel Extract, Adenosine, Purple Gromwell Extract, Disodium EDTA, Brown Algae Extract, Limonene, and Grapefruit Peel Oil, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly watery Berry scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Berry Infused Water on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Eye Gel rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Eye Serum.,
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Under Eyes, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Eye Gel into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Eye Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid or in a Tube with a Rollerball Applicator so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Skin Gym Eye Fit Brightening Eye Serum an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly watery Berry scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in a Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid or in a Tube with a Rollerball Applicator so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using. I also wish that it had contained a little bit of Caffeine to help make my Under Eyes look a little bit more awake.

I’m so glad you found an eye cream that worked for you. I have sensitive skin as well and have to be careful with what I use.
