The Hottest Coffee Around | 200 Degrees Coffee Leeds

A little while ago, both me and Jamie were very kindly invited down to 200 Degrees Coffee Leeds to come and try some of their delicious Coffee, and after having an amazing time checking everything out, I thought that I would tell you all about it.

What is 200 Degrees Coffee Leeds?

200 Degrees Coffee Leeds, is an artisan Coffee Shop in the heart of Leeds, that uses ethically sourced green Coffee Beans roasted at 200°, to create the perfect cup of Coffee.

What happened when I visited 200 Degrees Coffee Leeds.

Once we had walked out of Ox Club Leeds with Simon from I Like Press, we all started to walk down Briggate, and eventually arrived at 200 Degrees Coffee Leeds, which is located opposite the Boots in Trinity Leeds.

Once we had walked into the beautiful Coffee Shop, Simon said that once we had found a table, that we could just go up to the counter and order whatever we liked, and that he hoped that we enjoyed ourselves, before going off to talk to one of the lovely staff members.
After us both getting comfy at a table in front of a massive window, a really nice staff member came over and started to tell us what was on offer, which included some freshly made sandwiches, some delicious sweet treats and of course some tasty Coffee, and then after us both chatting for a couple more minutes, Jamie went up to the counter to place our order.

Once he had came back, he said that he had ordered us both a Mocha each, and had brought back a Chocolate Brownie and a gorgeous Chocolate and Raspberry Tart for us both to share, and after a couple more minutes of us both chatting, a really nice staff member brought over our Mocha’s.

We then just sat and  sipped our Mocha’s, and soaked up all of the delightful Sun that was coming in through the massive window.

What I had to eat and drink at 200 Degrees Coffee Leeds.

A light brown coffee with white ribbon detailing on the top of it, in a blue round cup and saucer, on a dark background.

The first thing that I had to eat and drink was their Mocha.

I’m not usually the biggest fan of Coffee, as I tend to find it incredibly sour and bitter, but I actually rather like this, and thought that their combination of ethically sourced green Coffee Beans and Chocolate, made a delicious Mocha that had a great balance of both Coffee and Chocolate, and was bitter whilst still being quite sweet.

A long thick rectangular shaped dark brown chocolate brownie with some flex of dark brown nuts, on top of a small rectangular white tissue, and a small circular white plate, on a dark background.

The next thing that I had to eat and drink was their Chocolate Brownie.

I absolutely loved this, as the Brownie was ever so slightly crispy around the edges, whilst still being incredibly gooey in the middle. I also thought that it had a very nice nutty taste to it, that kind of reminded me of Praline, and was absolutely jam packed full of Chocolate.

A large wedge of tart consisting of some light golden brown pastry, some red Raspberry coulis, and some dark brown chocolate ganache, all topped off with red raspberries, on a circular small plate, on a light brown background.

The last and final thing that I had to eat and drink was their Chocolate and Raspberry Tart.

I could only eat a little bit of this, as I thought that it was incredibly decadent, but I loved it, and thought that it had really nice crumbly Pastry, an extremely sour Raspberry compote, and a gorgeous Chocolate Ganache that was absolutely to die for.

After we had finished eating our delicious sweet treats and had finally finished drinking our Mocha’s, we decided that it was time to head off, so we said our goodbye’s and thank you’s to both Simon and all of the staff, and headed off back into Leeds to do a little bit of shopping.

I had an amazing time checking out 200 Degrees Coffee Leeds, and if you’re looking for a great place to relax with a delicious cup of Coffee, I highly recommend that you check them out too.
