Even though i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that tastes of Mint as I tend to find it incredibly overpowering, i’ve been absolutely loving the Costa Coffee After Eight Hot Chocolate lately, as I think that it has a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly minty taste to it that’s perfect for Winter when you want to curl up with a nice Hot Chocolate and a good Book. Well after drinking quite a lot of them over the past couple of weeks,  I thought that I would tell you how to make one at Home.

What’ you’ll need.

• 2 Tablespoons of Whittard Mint Flavoured Hot Chocolate or Costa Coffee Hot Chocolate.
• 215ml of Milk.
• A Can of Squirty Cream.
• 2 Teaspoons of Monin Green Mint Syrup.
• 10g of Grated Chocolate.
• 1 After Eight Dark Mint Thin.
• A tall microwavable Cup.

What to do.

1. Add the Milk to your Cup and put it in the Microwave for three minutes or until you think it’s hot enough.

2. Remove your Cup from the Microwave and stir in the Whittard Mint Flavoured Hot Chocolate or Costa Coffee Hot Chocolate until it has all dissolved.

3. Stir in a Teaspoon of the Monin Green Mint Syrup until it has all dissolved.

4. Shake your Bottle of Squirty Cream and squirt a liberal amount on top of your Hot Chocolate.

5. Sprinkle the Grated Chocolate over the Squirty Cream, drizzle over a Teaspoon of the Monin Green Mint Syrup and place the After Eight Dark Mint Thin on top of the Squirty Cream and Syrup mixture.

There you go, that’s how to make a Costa Coffee After Eight Hot Chocolate at Home.
