Concentrating Can Actually Reduce Lines | Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate | Gifted

I’ve always suffered with incredibly dry patches and dark circles underneath my Eyes, which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that will hydrate them and make them look brighter. That’s why when the guys over at Kiehl’s very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

here’s what Kiel’s say about their Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate.

Visibly reduce Crow’s Feet, Dark Circles and Under-eye Lines with our potent Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum with Vitamin C and Haloxyl™. Formulated with 10.5% L-Ascorbic Acid, also known as Pure Vitamin C, this efficacious Eye Treatment helps brighten and smooth for younger-looking Eyes.

  • Helps reduce the appearance of Crows Feet and under-eye lines.
  • Visibly reduces Dark Circles and brightens the Eye area.
  • Formulated with 10.5% Pure Vitamin C and Haloxyl™.
  • Clinically Proven to noticeably decrease the appearance of Crows Feet and Suborbital Wrinkles.
  • Based on results shown in a Dermatologist controlled study.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained L’Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, and Haloxyl, I thought that it had a very overpowering bitter and chemical yet ever so slightly plasticy scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Tin of Paint mixed with a Bottle of really cheap Nail Polish Remover.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Concentrate, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Day Cream rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Concentrate.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Day Cream into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Eye Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds. I however didn’t really like that even though it sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds, that it took about twenty minutes for it to eventually set.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and hydrated, but it also left them looking brighter, younger and healthier too. I also really liked that it managed to ever so slightly minimise some of the Lines that were underneath and around my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate an eight out of ten. I really liked it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very overpowering bitter and chemical yet ever so slightly Plasticy scent, or that it took so long to set.

  1. I wonder if it would good for people with sensitive skin or eyes? I would like to try something like that, it’s just most products like that aren’t good for sensitive skin or eyes and seem to test on animals.
