I Really Have To Concentrate To Get A Good Night’s Sleep | Revolution Skincare Overnight Recovery Concentrate

From their 0.5% Retinol & Rosehip Seed Oil Smoothing Serum, to their Cica range, and even their Pick Me Not Blemish Patches, i’ve been absolutely loving all of the products that i’ve tried from Revolution Skincare lately, as I think that they offer some fantastic formulations and products at a really affordable price. That’s why when I saw that they had released an Overnight Restoring Concentrate that claims to leave you with silky soft, smooth and hydrated Skin as well as helping you to relax whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical clear glass bottle full of some dark blue liquid with a black Plastic Pipette Lid and a white label that has Revolution Skincare Overnight Recovery Concentrate written in bright gold writing on it, on a white backhground.

How to use.

Work a few drops of the Concentrate into the Palms of your Hands. Gently massage and pat onto clean, dry Skin as part of your Evening Skincare Routine. Can be worn alone or under Moisturiser.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Jojoba Seed Oil, Dog Rose Fruit Oil, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Grape Seed Oil, Decyl Isostearate, Squalane, Isostearyl Isostearate, Peach Kernel Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Linoleic Acid, Lavender Oil, Tocopherol, Linalool, Rose Geranium Flower Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Coriander Seed Oil, Citronellol, Geraniol, Roman Chamomile Flower Oil, Linolenic Acid, Limonene, Soybean Oil, and Citral, I thought that it had a delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly malty Lavender scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you brew a massive Cup of Lavender Tea.

It’s consistency.

I absolutely loved it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Overnight Concentrate, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly runny, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly runny Facial Oil rather than a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Overnight Concentrate.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly runny Facial Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Overnight Concentrate that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Plastic Push Down Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my beauty Shelves, I found that I had to push it’s Pipette Lid down quite a lot of times before it released enough product to completely cover my Face.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Revolution Skincare Overnight Restoring Concentrate an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and medicinal yet ever so slightly malty Lavender scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come with a traditional Rubber Pipette Lid so that I could dispense enough product to completely cover my Face the first time around.
