Even though I don’t really purchase that much from The Ordinary anymore, as they’re unfortunately not as affordable as they used to be, I still keep my Eye on everything that they release as they usually release some very cool and quirky formulations that nowhere else seems to offer. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Sulfur 10% Powder-to-Cream Concentrate that claims to use Sulfur to help fight Blemishes, reduce redness and control Oil whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
1. Dispense a small amount of Powder on to a clean Finger and apply directly to the Blemish.
2. Rub into Skin.
3. Do not rinse off.
It’s scent.
I absolutely hated it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Propanediol, Silica Silylate, Sulfur, Water, Carnitine, Niacinamide, Acacia Senegal Gum, Kaolin, Polylysine, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, and Chlorphenesin, I thought that it had a very overwhelming deep and chemical yet ever so slightly musky Burnt Rubber scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Tyre Showroom on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured a little bit of it on to my Finger and had started to massage it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly fine and chalky yet ever so slightly creamy Finishing Powder into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly powdery Eye Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave the area around my Blemish feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also dramatically minimised any Spots or Blemishes that I had within about an hour, calmed down any redness, and in some cases totally got rid of the Spot or Blemish all together after two or three days of me continuously using it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves. I also really liked that it’s Bottle Opening was tiny, as it meant that I could just place my Finger over it, give it a little tap, and that enough Powder was released to cover any Blemish or Spot that I had.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Ordinary Sulfur 10% Powder-toCream Concentrate an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just couldn’t stand it’s very overwhelming deep and chemical yet ever so slightly musky Burnt Rubber scent. I also wish that it had contained a little bit of Salicylic Acid to help it get rid of any Spots or Blemishes even quicker, and that it was available in a much bigger Bottle, as 5g of a Blemish Powder doesn’t really last that long, especially if you have particularly Blemish-Prone Skin.
