A Smooth Operator | Lavera Smoothing Body Scrub

I always like to try and keep my Skin feeling as soft and smooth as I possibly can, especially during the colder months of the year. That’s why when the guys over at Lavera, very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Smoothing Body Scrub, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall flat conical glossy White, green and beige Plastic bottle that has Lavera Smoothing Body Scrub written in bold black writing and a picture of a green leaf on it, on a green background.

Here’s what Lavera say about their Smoothing Body Scrub.

Our Smoothing Body Scrub, with its exfoliating organic ingredients, removes dead skin cells and helps to smooth rough skin. It also contains our unique organic ingredient complex of green coffee beans and green tea to help boost circulation while smoothing grape and purifying rosemary leaves your Skin feeling soft and smooth.

Our Smoothing Body Scrub, also doesn’t contain micro-plastic scrub particles, is Paraben free and is suitable for all skin types.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Aloe Vera Juice, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Lemon Peel Oil, Coffee Seed extract, Rosemary Leaf extract, Lime Oil, Grapefruit extract, and Jojoba Oil, I thought that it had a sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of Key Lime Pie.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt really thin and creamy, and was more like a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Body Milk rather than a thick and gloopy yet gritty Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Body Milk into a thick and creamy yet gritty Body Scrub that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth and moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic bottle with a clickable lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lavera Smoothing Body Scrub an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime scent, it’s thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I did find that I had to use quite a lot of it because of how thin and creamy it was.
