Answering The Age-Old Question Of Why Don’t I Have A Smooth Body? | Q+A AHA Exfoliator Body Scrub

Even though I wasn’t a massive fan of the Q+A Ceramide Body Lotion because of it’s very overpowering sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly soapy Pistachio scent, i’ve actually been itching to try some more products from the range as everyone always raves about how good and affordable they are. That’s why when I saw that the Boots 24 Days Of Skincare 2025 Advent Calendar contained a Tube of the Q+A AHA Exfoliator Body Scrub that claims to use a blend of Corn Cob Powder, Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid to leave you with silky smooth, soft and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website last year, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall cylindrical gradient bright green and white plastic Tube with a white plastic lid and a bright white label that has Q+A AHA Exfoliator Body Scrub written in bold black writing on it on a bright blue worktop, on a gradient bright pink background.

Here’s what Q+A say about their AHA Exfoliator Body Scrub.

An expert blend of AHA’s, Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid, combined with Physical Exfoliants help to improve Skin texture and promote soft and supple Skin. Formulated in a creamy base, our AHA Exfoliator Body Scrub is abrasive enough to exfoliate pesky dry areas, whilst leaving Skin feeling moisturised and soft.
The summery and rich Golden Vanilla and Coconut scent is combined with notes of Macadamia, Papaya and Honeyed Amber.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Corn Cob Powder, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Lactic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Sunflower Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycolic Acid, Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Carbomer, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Gluconate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Fragrance, Coconut Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzyl Cinnamate, and Coumarin, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and musky yet ever so slightly creamy Amber and Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past someone who’s just finished applying some Coconut and Amber scented Sun Cream at the Beach on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thin and gelatinous Shower Gel with little pieces of Corn Cob Powder running through it rather than a thick and gritty yet ever so slightly gelatinous Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and gelatinous Shower Gel with little pieces of Corn Cob Powder running through it into a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Body Scrub that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, squeaky clean, soft, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, much healthier and smelling of delicious sweet and musky yet ever so slightly creamy Amber and Coconut for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, because of it’s incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty consistency, I found that quite a lot of the product tended to get stuck all over the outside of the Tube whenever I used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Q+A AHA Exfoliator Body Scrub an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and musky yet ever so slightly creamy Amber and Coconut scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in a Tub with a screw top Lid instead of in a Tube with a clickable Lid so that it didn’t get stuck to the outside of the Tube whenever I used it.
