The Comfort Of A Hot Shower | Lush Comfort Zone Shower Bomb, Red Pill Shower Bomb, Supernatural Powers Shower Bomb, & Tantric Energy Shower Bomb

I definitely think that Shower Bombs have to be one of the most interesting products that Lush has ever released. That’s why when I went to Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to stop by their Shower Bombs Department to check out all of the delicious smelling exclusive Shower Bombs that they had on offer. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Comfort Zone Shower Bomb, the Red Pill Shower Bomb, the Supernatural Powers Shower Bomb, and the Tantric Energy Shower Bomb, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all four amazing smelling Shower Bombs.

The Comfort Zone Shower Bomb.

Does the currant Climate leave you feeling Berry insecure? Don’t let Shower time stop you from indulging in your much-needed Comfort Blanket. Envelop yourself in moussey clouds of Foamy froth and cuddle up to the cosy nostalgia of Blackcurrant Absolute. Bergamot Oil provides a cheery brightness, while Cypress Oil calms with its woody warmth.

The Sodium Alginate and Potato Starch base of Shower Bombs embrace you with their ability to soothe the Skin, leaving it luxuriously pampered and silky. You will also see Chia Seeds peeping through this mix which will create a softening Gel when combined with Water.

Sometimes we all need the security of our comfort zone, and why would you want to leave it when it’s so delectably sweet? The ultimate hug in your Shower. Come on… bring it on!

The Red Pill Shower Bomb.

When you’re feeling a little under the Weather or the Weather feels a little under, take a Red Pill to remedy. Just one dose will cuddle you in comfort as a course of stimulating goodies all hailing from sunny and exotic climes set to work soothing your weary Body and Mind. Chilli, Mustard and Ginger will kick your circulation into better shape warming from the outside in and re-energising weary Muscles, while Cinnamon and it’s relation Cassiea cleanse and clear impurities. As well as being a natural deodoriser and lending the Pill it’s hue, Red Ochre adds a humble earthy note to an assembly of Spices, helping to clear the Mind. Elsewhere the cheery Lemon-like fragrance of Bergamot Oil inspires positive thoughts, not to mention wraps you up in a silky Citrus sheen that lingers long after the Shower ends.

To administer, simply break the double dose Tablet in half, saving one side for a follow-up appointment. In cupped Hands, hold the Shower Bomb under the Water to allow it to sizzle, little and often should do the trick, smoothing the firey Foam all over to ensure a clean bill of health.

The Supernatural Powers Shower Bomb.

An outer-body experience calls for a close encounter with Supernatural Powers. Create a ritual out of your Shower and weave a complex spell of ingredients to channel your inner gifts and awaken dormant abilities.

Channel your intention, speak an incantation and breathe in heady clouds of enlivening herbal fragrances. Allow invigorating Lemongrass Oil to clear the mind, while Sage and Thyme add a verdant vibrancy to this triquetra. Tea Tree Oil is superbly cleansing, having being used for years to treat problematic Skin. Rosemary, both in its fresh and Oil forms, provides crystal clarity and invigorates the Mind, alleviating boredom and providing inspiration to leave you feeling charmed.

If you’ve been feeling spacey, connect with your Body to unleash your Mind. We’ve had a premonition, and it’s that a great Shower is heading your way.

The Tantric Energy Shower Bomb.

Turn the Lights down, the Shower on, and Marvin Gaye up – things are about to get steamy. But take your time, there’s no rush, because like the intimate practice this Purple, Glitter-gilded Shower Bomb takes its inspiration – the pleasure’s in the patience. Styled as the Crown Chakra, Sahasrara, which means the Lotus of a thousand Petals. Tantric Energy offers up luxurious Jasmine Absolute, one of the sexiest Essential Oils on the Planet with a kick of Ginger Oil to help relax the mood and get the Blood pumping. Cup the shower bomb in your Hands and move it gently under the running Water for just a second, simply to get it wet. Pull it away and allow the floral Foam to stir, while the sensually-charged aroma starts to stimulate your senses. Move it in a touch, and pull it out again, in and out, in and out, all the while you ride the Wave of anticipation, as the foam swells ever larger. Tease it back and forth, the Ginseng will keep you going and going, and only when the mound threatens to overflow do you give into the climax, scooping and spreading the silky soft suds all over your Skin, eagerly caressing your body with the mystery that Oakmoss Absolute brings. When it’s all over, ask yourself, can you wait until next time?

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Potato Starch, Sodium Alginate, Bergamot Oil, Blackcurrant Absolute, Cypress Oil, Chia Seeds, and Fresh Raspberries, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly woody Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of the smell of a Blackcurrant Tart fresh out of the Oven.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds, it started to release lots of thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Foam with little pieces of grit in it that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly woody Blackcurrant for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Potato Starch, Sodium Alginate, Bergamot Oil, Cassia Oil, Ginger Powder, Cinnamon Powder, Mustard Powder, and Chilli Powder, I thought that it had an extremely deep and spicy yet ever so slightly grassy Cinnamon scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive mug of piping hot Chai Tea.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Potato Starch, Sodium Alginate, Lemongrass Oil, Sage Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Rosemary Oil, Thyme Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, and Fresh Rosemary, I thought that it had a very overpowering fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly medicinal Tea Tree scent to it that kind of reminded me of the smell of rotting Vegetables.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Potato Starch, Sodium Alginate, Ginger Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Oakmoss Absolute, and Ginseng Powder, I thought that it had a very seductive deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of a really seductive Woman’s Perfume.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Comfort Zone Shower Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Red Pill Shower Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Supernatural Powers Shower Bomb a six out of ten, and the Lush Tantric Energy Shower Bomb a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Comfort Zone Shower Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly woody Blackcurrant scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I did find that it lost quite a lot of it’s scent once I had held it under some running Water. I really liked the Lush Tantric Energy Shower Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s very seductive deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Jasmine scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I definitely think that it’s scent needs to be in more products as I couldn’t stop sniffing my Skin after I had used it.
