Whenever I have a Breakout, I usually throw everything and anything that says that it fights Acne, Breakouts or Spots at it in an effort to get rid of it as soon as I possibly can. Unfortunately though, this usually means that i’m left with incredibly dry and flaky Skin which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that claims to fight Breakouts as well as leave you with hydrated and moisturised Skin. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a Breakout Box that contained a Tube of the Acnemy Zit Control® that claims to control, prevent and minimise the look of Spots whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Niacinamide, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Glycerin, Noni Fruit Callus Culture Lycate, Grape fruit Extract, Ginger Root Extract, Indian Frankincense Extract, Salicylic Acid, Zinc PCA, Ceramide NP, Mannitol, Cholesterol, Phosphatidylcholine, Hydrogenated Phosphatidylcholine, Dimyristoyl, Phosphatidylcholine, Decyl Glucoside, Stearamine, Xanthan Gum, Lecithin, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Acrylates Crosspolymer-2, Olive Oil, Polyglyceryl-6 Esters, Lauryl Glucoside, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Sorbitan Monooleate, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, and Sodium Benzoate, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Grapefruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Tube of some very expensive Grapefruit Hand Cream.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Day Cream rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Day Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Moisturising Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall and thin conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Acnemy Zit Control® an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Grapefruit scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had come in a much bigger Tube and that it had also contained a little bit more Salicylic Acid.
