One of my favourite ever Jo Malone Fragrances definitely has to be their Lime, Basil & Mandarin Cologne, but I can never seem to justify spending £100 on a Fragrance when Brands like Primark and Poundland offer a similar Fragrance for a lot less money. That’s why when I saw that Aldi had released a Hotel Collection Lime, Basil & Mandarin Eau De Parfum whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been wearing it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Alcohol Denat, Fragrance, Water, Limonene, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Hydroxycitronellal, Citral, Geraniol, benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, and Farmesol, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly herbal Mandarin scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat outside underneath a Mandarin Tree on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s longevity.
I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists and Neck when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have my Dinner at about six o’clock in the evening.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall rectangular Glass Bottle with a push on metallic Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Hotel Collection Lime, Basil & Mandarin Eau De Parfum a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly herbal Mandarin scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt even stronger and that it was also part of their main range.
