One of my favourite Sheet Masks, and theres a lot of them, definitely has to be the GlamGlow BubbleSheet™ Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask, as I absolutely love how cleansed and hydrated it leaves my Skin feeling. Unfortunately though, at £8 a Mask, I only really use one of them when my Skin is feeling particularly clogged. That’s why when I saw that Aldi had released a Lacura Deep Cleansing Bubble Mask that claims to leave you with cleansed, hydrated and clearer looking Skin whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well I finally used it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Ethyl Perfluorobutyl Ether, Dimethicone, Disodium Cocamidopropyl Betaine,Butylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Pentylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Allantoin, Cintella Asiatica Extract, Chamomile Flower Extract, Bacillus Ferment, Purslane Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, and Limonene, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly chemical Paint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Tin of Paint.
It’s material.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s material, as even though this was made out of a very thick and fluffy Microfibre Tissue that felt incredibly soft against my Skin, I unfortunately found that it had managed to rip quite a lot when I had removed it from it’s packaging, especially around the Chin and Forehead areas.
It’s size.
I really liked it’s size, as unlike some of the other Sheet Masks that i’ve tried in the past, it actually managed to fit my Face perfectly as I didn’t have to bunch it up around the Eye, Nose or Lip areas.
What it did when I used it.
I absolutely loved what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it slowly started to bubble and foam and eventually created an incredibly thick and frothy layer of Foam all over my Skin that securely stuck the Microfibre Tissue to my Face so that I could move around without worrying that it was going to fall off. I also really liked that once it had finally finished frothing and foaming, that it ever so slightly started to tingle which made it feel like some of the Bubbles were actually popping on my Face.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, purified, matte and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Foaming Solution leaked anywhere.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Lacura Deep Cleansing Bubble Mask an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s perfect size, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly chemical Paint scent or that it’s material had managed to rip so much when I had removed it from it’s packaging.
