I Must Remember To Get More Water From The Supermarket | Aldi Lacura H2O Sleep Mask

when the Weather starts to get colder and my Skin starts to become incredibly dry and dehydrated, I love nothing more than smothering it in some kind of Overnight Face Mask that’s loaded with Hyaluronic Acid and leaving it to work it’s magic whilst I sleep. That’s why when I saw that Aldi had released a Lacura H2O Sleep Mask that claims to contain Hyaluronic Acid to leave you with silky soft, plump and hydrated Skin whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Aldi say about their Lacura H2O Sleep Mask.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Butylene Glycol, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Isononyl Isononanoate, Pentylene Glycol, Trehalose, Betaine, Polyacrylate-13, Carbomer, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Threonine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Tryptophan, Panthenol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Provence Rose Flower Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, and Ci 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Rose scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Bucket of Rain Water over a massive Bouquet of freshly picked Red Roses.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a H2O Sleep Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel Cream Moisturiser rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy H2O Sleep Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel Cream Moisturiser into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous H2O Sleep Mask that instantly sank into my Skin.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for at least 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical matte Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Lacura H2O Sleep Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Rose scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range as I think that it would be perfect for the Winter months when even people with Oily Skin get a little bit dry and dehydrated.
