I know that i’ve said it before, but I absolutely love Aldi’s Lacura Skincare range, as even though it’s usually very obvious what product they’ve tried to copy, they tend to do it really well. That’s why when I saw that they had released an Ebony Rose Face Mask that seems to be very similar to the Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask and claims to leave you with softer and plumper Skin whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Transform your Skin with our Lacura Ebony Rose Face Mask. Deep treat your Skin two to three times a week with this nourishing Face Mask. You’ll be left feeling refreshed, revitalised and most importantly relaxed.
Dermatologically tested.
With Vitamin B3 and Avocado Oil.
Promotes an illuminated and moisturised complexion for soft and plump Skin.
How to use.
Apply a thick layer on to your Face and Neck. Leave on for ten to fifteen minutes. Wipe away any excess product. Repeat two to three times a week.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Niacinamide, C10-18 Triglycerides, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Stearate, Ethylhexyl Polyhydroxystearate, Avocado Oil, Panthenol, Fragrance, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Disodium EDTA, Hydrolyzed Carob Gum, Troxerutin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Isostearate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Rose Hybrid Flower Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Geraniol, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Tin Oxide, CI 77891, and CI 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Plum scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of freshly squeezed Plum Juice on a balmy Spring Evening.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Serum rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Serum into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel Face Mask that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Ebony Rose Face Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Plum scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had actually smelt of Roses or had at least contained more than one type of Rose Extract. I also thought that It was a fantastic hydrating Mask that I could use as an Overnight Mask if I wanted to, but it’s not something that i’ll be rushing out to repurchase.
