Even though I absolutely love treating myself to some luxury and usually quite expensive Skincare, I also love finding more budget friendly options that claim to be similar to some of my favourite Luxury Skincare products so that I can save myself some money too. That’s why when I saw that Aldi had released a Lacura Pink Clay Mask that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and clearer looking Skin as well as being inspired by the Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Aldi say about their Lacura Pink Clay Mask.
Keep your Skin fresh, clear and forever radiant!
This Lacura Pink Clay Mask is the ideal addition to your Beauty Routine. This Mask is sure to detoxify your Skin, leaving you feeling fresh and revitalised. The new formula will also leave your Skin looking both clearer and brighter too.
- Detoxifying and brightening.
- Helps draw out impurities.
- Refines Pores.
- Extracts of exotic Australian Kakadu Plum.
- Witch Hazel Water for a clearer and brighter complexion.
- Includes a Brush for easy application.
- Cruelty free.
- Dermatologically tested.
How to use.
Using the Brush included, apply an even layer to clean, dry Skin and allow to work for ten minutes. Rinse with Warm Water to reveal a brighter and radiant glow. For best results store at room temperature and use only one to two times a week. Clean the Brush Thoroughly after use with Warm Water and allow to air dry.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Kaolin, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Bentonite, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Witch Hazel Water, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, 1-Methylhydantoin-2-Inide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Montmorillonite, Alcohol, Illite, 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1,3-Diol, Black Cohosh Root Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Mangosteen Fruit Extract, Pomegranate Fruit Extract, Fragrance, Kakadu Plum Fruit Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Trisodium EDTA, Limonene, and CI 77491, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet Pomegranate scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into a perfectly ripened Pomegranate.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Clay Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy Clay Face Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to brush a little bit of it on to my Face, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Clay Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer, a little bit brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a metallic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves. I also really liked that it came with a Miniature Face Mask Brush, as it made it much easier to apply to my Face rather than just using my Fingers.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Lacura Pink Clay Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet Pomegranate scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had left my Skin feeling a little bit more moisturised and that it was also a little bit easier to get hold of.
