I absolutely love that both Japanese and Korean Skincare has become more readily available lately, not just on specialist Websites like Yes Style, but on the High Street at places like Boots and Superdrug too. That’s why when I saw that Aldi had released a Lacura Pineapple Face Serum that claims to be inspired by Japanese Skincare and leave you with softer, glossier and brighter looking Skin whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Aldi say about their Lacura Pineapple Face Serum.
You’ll be left feeling like a fine-apple after using this gorgeous Lacura Pineapple Face Serum. This clever formula delivers a combination of Pineapple Extract, Vitamin C and Turmeric Extract to help balance Skin tone for Skin that appears more radiant and refreshed use after use. Formulated with Acai Extract and Sodium Hyaluronate, this Serum will help Skin appear smoother, glossier and visibly brighter. Gently pat a few drops on to clean Skin morning and night and follow up with your favourite Moisturiser.
Vitamin C infused with Pineapple Extract.
Helps to balance Skin tone.
Achieves a radiant complexion.
Contains Acai Extract and Sodium Hyaluronate.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Chamomile Flower Extract, Glycerin, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Pineapple Fruit Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate, Lactoeacillus Ferment, Ethylhexylglycerin, Acai Fruit Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorvate, Goji Berry Fruit Extract, Turmeric Root Extract, and Hexyl Cinnamol, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly tropical Pineapple scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Pineapple Juice on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though this was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Essence rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Essence into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall rectangular Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Lacura Pineapple Face Serum a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly tropical Pineapple scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had been a little bit more moisturising and that it was also part of their main range.
