Advancing To Younger-Looking Skin Overnight | Aldi Lacura ProNight Advanced Face Serum

I absolutely love it whenever Aldi releases something from their Lacura range, as it usually means that I get to try some very expensive inspired Skincare that I wouldn’t have otherwise tried at a really affordable price. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Lacura ProNight Advanced Face Serum that claims to be inspired by the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Facial Serum whilst I was doing my weekly Food Shop a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical amber Glass Bottle with a gold Rubber Pipette Lid and a dark brown Label that has Aldi Lacura ProNight Advanced Face Serum written in bright white writing on it next to a short cylindrical amber glass jar with a gold plastic lid and a dark brown label that has Aldi Lacura ProNight+ Face Cream written in bright white writing on it, on a bright pink background.

Here’s what Aldi say about their Lacura ProNight Advanced Face Serum.

Our Lacura ProNight Advanced Face Serum is enriched with an all-in-one Recovery Complex to soothe, hydrate and rejuvenate the appearance of Skin.
This lightweight, fast absorbing formula is infused with Copper Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid and Allantoin to help promote the look of younger, radiant Skin.

How to use.

Apply one Dropper to clean Skin at Night before your Moisturiser. Smooth in gently all over your Face and Neck. Follow with our Lacura ProNight+ Face Cream.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Propylene glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Lecithin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Distarch Phosphate, Chamomile Flower Extract, Argenine, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Orange Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Maltodextrin, Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Lemon Peel Oil, Beta Glucan, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Copper Tripeptide-1, Levulinic Acid, sh-Polypeptide-9, Acetyl Glutamine, Folic Acid Ferment Filtrate, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sh-Oligopeptide-1, sh-Polypeptide-2, Sh-Polypeptide-1, Sh-Polypeptide-11, Palmitoyl Tripeptide,-38, Sodium Levulinate, Limonene, CI 14729, and CI 19169, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly bitter Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Carton of Fresh Orange Juice.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Chemical Exfoliant rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Chemical Exfoliant into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to ever so slightly minimise some of the Fine Lines and Wrinkles that are around my Eyes and Forehead, and that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, it’s Rubber Pipette Lid was unfortunately made out of an incredibly tough Rubber that was quite difficult to squeeze.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Aldi Lacura ProNight Advanced Face Serum an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly bitter Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come with a Rubber Pipette Lid that was a little bit easier to use.

  1. I agree with your comments, it’s a lovely product. Going back to get some more if it’s not sold out!

  2. I really like their products; the Pro Night Advanced Face Serum and cream are very light, and they have an incredible scent—not overpowering, just right.
