I love that Boots has been absolutely smashing it with their own brand Skincare lately, especially with their Ingredients and Vitamin C ranges, as I think that it’s about time that we saw some brilliant and well formulated Drugstore Skincare ranges on the Market. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Glow Pineapple Serum as part of their Glow range that claims to use Pineapple Extract to leave you with glowing looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Boots say about their Glow Pineapple Serum.
Our Boots Glow Serum with Pineapple Extract smoothes and cares for your Skin.
- Vegan and not tested on Animals.
- No Animal derived ingredients or by products.
How to use.
Use our Boots Glow Pineapple Serum before your daily moisturiser morning and night. Use your Fingertips to pat on to Skin until absorbed.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Isopropyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Chlorphenesin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Polyacrylate, Disodium EDTA, Dipropylene Glycol, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Benzophenone-4, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance, Trideceth-6, Pineapple Fruit Extract, Shea Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Maltodextrin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Denatomium Benzoate, CI 14700, and CI 19140, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly tropical Pineapple scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Pineapple Juice on a boiling hot Summer’s Night.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Glow Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, plump, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a thin conical Plastic Tube with a Nozzle and a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, having it in a Tube unfortunately meant that I could never really tell how much I was applying.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Boots Glow Pineapple Serum an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly tropical Pineapple scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s packaging as with it coming in a Tube instead of in some kind of a Bottle, I could never really tell how much I was applying.
