A Nice Calming Mist Always Calms My Hot Skin Down | Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray

Even though the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes are pretty much under control I do occasionally have the odd Flare-Up, which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that can soothe and calm my Skin down as well as add a fair bit of hydration to it. That’s why when I saw that Avène had released a Thermal Spring Water Spray that claims to instantly soothe and calm dry and irritated Skin whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.

For a soothing and refreshing effect, spray generously for several seconds, wait a moment and then gently pat dry with a Towel.

An expert tip.

For greater effectiveness, a Compress is the ideal solution. Fold a Compress. Soak it with Avène Thermal Spring Water, apply it to the affected area, and spray again. Leave it on for 10 minutes.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Avène Water, and Nitrogen, I thought that it had a delicious clean and crisp yet ever so slightly oceanic Water scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into the Ocean on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had pressed down it’s Aerosol Trigger, it started to release a very powerful Mist of incredibly light and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Mist all over my Face that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes, and actually calmed them down when they were feeling particularly sore and irritated.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Metal Canister with an Aerosol Trigger that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly oceanic Water scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a few more ingredients so that it actually did something long-term to my Skin, like Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, or maybe even a little bit of Vitamin C.
