I’ve noticed that my Skin, especially underneath my Eyes and around my Jaw, has become really dry, congested and rough lately. That’s why when I saw that Biore had released a Blue Agave & Baking Soda Whipped Detox Mask that claims to cleanse, purify and intensely moisturise congested Skin whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How it works.
On a Wet Face.
Apply Mask, massaging a generous amount evenly on to Face avoiding the Eye Area.
Chill out for five minutes, the Mask does not dry out or harden.
Rinse thoroughly with Warm Water to remove the Mask. Use a Wash Cloth if desired.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerin, Glycol Distearate, Ethoxydiglycol, Peg-6, Caprylic/Capryl Glycerides, Cetyl Alcohol, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Sodium Lauryl Lactylate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance, Sodium Hydroxide, Menthol, Benzophenone-4, Sodium Bicarbonate, Agave Leaf Extract, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, CI 42090, and CI 60730, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and soapy yet ever so slightly fruity Banana scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some Banana Skins in a bucket of Sugar and Soap.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Whipped Detox Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly airy Whipped Detox Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly airy Whipped Detox Mask that spread really easily across my Face.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, purified and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much clearer for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Biore Blue Agave & Baking Soda Whipped Detox Mask an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I unfortunately just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and soapy yet ever so slightly fruity Banana scent.
