Even though I have quite an extensive Skincare Routine, one of the things that I struggle to find definitely has to be a good Facial Serum, as most of the Facial Serums that I tend to find are either ridiculously overpriced or contain so many different Active Ingredients that they all compete with each other and don’t really do anything to my Skin. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a SkinHit Serum range that contains eleven different Facial Serums to suit all Skin types whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the SkinHit Balancing Serum with Prebiotic and Postbiotic, a Bottle of the SkinHit Calming Serum with Cica and Mushroom, a Bottle of the SkinHit Correcting Serum with AHA and PHA, a Bottle of the SkinHit Hyperpigmentation Serum with Tranexamic Acid and Alpha Arbutin, and a Bottle of the SkinHit Protecting Serum with Anti-Pollution and Blue Light Actives, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what By Beauty Bay say about all five amazing products.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Propamediol, Lactococcus Ferment Lysate, Sodium Citrate, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Lactic Acid, Sodium Chloride, and Sodium Benzoate, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly chemical Plastic scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had set a Plastic Lunchbox on Fire.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Balancing Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Balancing Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly milky Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, balanced, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the By Beauty Bay SkinHit Balancing Serum with Prebiotic and Postbiotic a nine out of ten, the By Beauty Bay SkinHit Calming Serum with Cica and Mushroom a nine out of ten, the By Beauty Bay SkinHit Correcting Serum with AHA and PHA an eight out of ten, the By Beauty Bay SkinHit Hyperpigmentation Serum with Tranexamic Acid and Alpha Arbutin an eight out of ten, and the By Beauty Bay SkinHit Protecting Serum with Anti-Pollution and Blue Light Actives an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the By Beauty Bay SkinHit Balancing Serum with Prebiotic and Postbiotic, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly chemical Plastic scent. I really liked the By Beauty Bay SkinHit Protecting Serum with Anti-Pollution and Blue Light Actives, as I absolutely loved it’s very fresh and watery yet ever so slightly minty Peppermint scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a much higher amount of Blue Light Actives as I don’t think they actually managed to do anything worthwhile to my Skin.

Ooo an interesting range! Shame about the scent issue but I wouldn’t mind trying one of them, though it’d be hard to choose which! I’ve not come across postbiotics in skincare before – pre and probiotics are popular in supplements and specialist foods like pricey yoghurts as well as some face products, but not postbiotics. Nor have I ever come across skincare with mushroom before so I’m definitely curious. Fab review,

I’ve never come across it in Skincare either which is why I placed an order. Yeah the scents are kind of annoying but most Skincare is going down the Fragrance-Free route but I love a nice smelling bit of Skincare.
