Even though it’s usually quite a small range, I really look forward to whenever Lush releases their Father’s Day range, as it usually means the return of one of my favourite Bath Bombs, the Dirty Bath Bomb. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Father’s Day 2022 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a No. 1 Dad Bubble Bar, a Bottle of the Glitch Shower Gel, and a Block of the Big Moustache Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Lush say about all three delicious smelling products.
The No. 1 Dad Bubble Bar.
Simply the best Spearmint Suds.
How to use.
And the Award goes to… Give someone the top Prize this Father’s Day. With the herbal, minty scent of Dirty, crumble under running Water for Mountains of Bubbles and bright Blue Water.
How to store.
Keep in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to win the day.
The Glitch Shower Gel.
A refreshing Lemongrass cleanse.
How to use.
Step away from the Computer Screen and get behind the Shower Screen to lather this powerhouse of invigorating Lemongrass, Lemon Balm Tea and cleansing Lime Juice all over your Body, then simply rinse.
The Big Moustache Soap.
A woody, Charcoal cleanse.
How to use.
With Charcoal for a gentle scrub and infused with Old Man’s Beard, a Lichen with a long, traditional use in Skincare, put it under your Nose and you’ll see. Then lather up and wash your Face and Body for a herbal scented cleanse.
How to store.
Keep cool and dry, or wrap it up as a Father’s Day Gift until ready to use.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Spearmint Oil, Tarragon Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Lavender Absolute, Neroli Oil, Thyme Absolute, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, coumarin, Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 77491, Colour 42090:2, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly herbal Mint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of a Bunch of freshly picked Mint Leaves.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft shimmering deep Blue Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds in the middle of the Ocean.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly herbal Mint for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Lemon Balm Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Lemongrass Oil, Bergamot Oil, Fresh Lemon Juice, Fresh Lime Juice, Titanium Dioxide, Carrageenan Extract, Gardenia Extract, Water, Propylene Glycol, Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Chlorophyllin, Colour 59040, Colour 42090:2, and Colour 19140, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Jar of Lemon Curd.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion into a thick and frothy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Propylene Glycol, Old Man’s Beard Infusion, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Water, Organic Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Ho Wood Oil, Petitgrain Oil, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Powdered Charcoal, Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Coumarin, Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a very overpowering deep and woody yet ever so slightly zesty Ho Wood and Patchouli scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of some very strong Leather Polish.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thin and balmy yet ever so slightly frothy lather that spread really easily across my Face and Hands.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them smelling of very overpowering deep and woody yet ever so slightly zesty Ho Wood and Patchouli for at least ten minutes after I had used it. I also really liked that whenever I used it as a Facial Soap, that it left my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, matte, bouncy and intensely hydrated, as well as also looking extremely radiant, glowing, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush No. 1 Dad Bubble Bar a nine out of ten, the Lush Glitch Shower Gel a nine point five out of ten, and the Lush Big Moustache Soap a seven point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush No. 1 Dad Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly herbal Mint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Spearmint. I really liked the Lush Glitch Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Big Moustache Soap, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very overwhelming deep and woody yet ever so slightly zesty Ho Wood and Patchouli scent.
