With me getting quite a lot of Blemishes lately, especially around my Jaw and underneath my Eyes, i’ve been constantly looking for any kind of Blemish Treatment that claims to get rid of Blemishes as well as soothing your Skin so that i’m not left with little red or sore patches all over my Face. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a The Breakout Box that contained a Tube of their By Beauty Bay Soothe Paste Blemish Treatment with Salicylic Acid and Prebiotic that claims to tackle Breakouts as well as soothe your Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.

• Ensure that your Skin is clean and dry then apply a small amount over the Blemish.
• If using overnight, simply wash off in the morning.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Zinc Carbonate, Glyceryl Stearate, Silica, Glycerin, Squalane, Salicylic Acid, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbiton Olivate, Phenoxyethanol, Dextrin, Polydextrose, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Amylopectin, Niacinamide, Maltrodextrin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol, Disodium EDTA, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Butylene Glycol, Witch Hazel Leaf Extract, and Iron Oxide, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chemical Milk scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you wash out some Plastic Milk Cartons to put in the Recycling Bin.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Paste Blemish Treatment, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy Toothpaste rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Paste Blemish Treatment.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy Toothpaste into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Day Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, matte, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to drastically minimise any of the Blemishes that I had whenever I used it overnight.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the By Beauty Bay Soothe Paste Blemish Treatment with Salicylic Acid and Prebiotic, a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chemical Milk scent. I also wish that it had come in a much bigger Tube, as 15ml of a Blemish Treatment doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re extremely Blemish prone like I have been lately.
