I Have A Clean & Clear Mind & Skin Now | Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser

For some strange reason, even though I usually have Dry to Combination Skin, around the beginning of August it starts to become incredibly oily, greasy and prone to breakouts. That’s why when I saw that Clean & Clear had released a Dual Action Moisturiser that claims to moisturise your Skin and help prevent Blemishes whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short conical white plastic tube with a dark purple Lid and a faded dark purple label that has Clean & Clear written in bright pink writing and Dual Action Moisturiser written in bright blue writing on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Clean & Clear say about their Dual Action Moisturiser.

This Oil free formula leaves Skin feeling soft and smooth every day. Plus it’s Fragrance free and suitable for even Sensitive Skin.
The Oil free formula moisturises without clogging Pores, while helping to prevent Spots and Blemishes leaving Skin feeling smooth, soft and beautiful every day.

How to use.

Start with clean Skin. Then squeeze some product into your Palms and gently smooth over your Face and Neck. Use throughout the day to refresh your Skin.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Propylene Glycol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Benzyl Lactate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Propylene Glycol Isostearate, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Salicylic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Sodium Isostearoal Lactylate, Acryltes/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, and Propylparaben, I thought that it had a very subtile deep and musky yet ever so slightly creamy Lactic Acid scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you first open a massive Bottle of Lactic Acid.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Dual Action Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Dual Action Moisturiser.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Dual Action Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, matte, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile deep and musky yet ever so slightly creamy Lactic Acid scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I did unfortunately notice that it tended to break me  out quite a lot if I used it for too many days in a row.
