Like everyone else during the Heatwave a couple of weeks ago, my Skin was looking like one oily mess, which isn’t really the look that I was going for. This meant that I was on the lookout for anything that would return it to it’s usually silky soft, matte and shine-free looking and feeling former self. That’s why when I saw that Boots had released a Fresh Faced Skincare Favourites Edit that contained a Box of the Boots Skin Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets that claims to leave you with silky soft, matte and shine-free Skin, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Boots say about their Skin Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets.
Our Boots Skin Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets are infused with Salicylic Acid to help prevent Spots and eliminate Bacteria by instantly absorbing excess Oil from your Skin without removing your Make-up. Leaving your Skin looking healthier, mattified and shine free.
How to use.
Gently blot or wipe the Sheet over your Face, concentrating on your oily areas such as your Nose and Forehead to quickly remove excess and oil.
Their scent.
I really liked their scent, as even though they contained Talc, Kaolin, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Salicylic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, CI 77891, and CI 77491, I thought that they had a very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Talcum Powder scent to them that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Talcum Powder.
Their material.
I really liked their material, as these were made out of an incredibly thin but substantial piece of Rice Paper that felt really soft against my Skin.
Their size.
I really liked their size, as each individual Sheet was about the size of a Credit Card.
What they did when I used them.
I really liked what they did when I used them, as once I had removed one of them from their Box and had started to swipe it across my Face, it released little particles of Talc and Kaolin all over my Face that instantly sank into my Skin and soaked up any excess Oil that was on my Face.
Their results.
I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but they also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, less shiny and much healthier for at least an entire hour after I had used one of them.
Their packaging.
I really liked their packaging, as these came in a small rectangular Cardboard Box with a Cardboard Tab Fastening that fitted really easily into my Pocket.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Boots Skin Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved their very subtile fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Talcum Powder scent, their material, their size, what they did when I used one of them, their results, and their packaging, but I just wish that they were available in a much bigger Box, as 50 Sheets of an Oil Absorbing Sheet doesn’t really last that long, especially when you sweat or produce Oil as much as I do.
