Clear Skin Is Just An Exfoliation Away | Nivea Derma Skin Clear Chemical Exfoliant

I absolutely love trying out Viral Skincare, as there’s usually a pretty good reason why so many people have been raving about it. That’s why when I saw that Latest In Beauty had released a Blemish & Breakout Kit that contained a Tube of the Nivea Derma Skin Clear Chemical Exfoliant that’s been all over my Instagram and TikTok Feed whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall and thin conical bright teal plastic tube with a metallic silver plastic lid that has Nivea written in dark blue writing and Derma Skin Clear Chemical Exfoliant written in bold black writing on it, on a white background.

How to use.

Usage frequency, use once a day.
Apply on a well cleansed Face, avoiding contact with the Eyes.

Warning.

A slight stinging sensation can occur. Do not use on irritated Skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Consult a Doctor if irritation persists. Avoid contact with Eyes. This product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids that may increase your Skin’s sensitivity to the Sun and particularly the possibility of Sunburn. Use a Sunscreen and wear suitable protective Clothing and limit Sun exposure while using this product.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycolic Acid, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Tapioca Starch, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Hydroxide, Gluconolactone, PEG-40 Stearate, PEG-150 Distearate, Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, Panthenol, Chinese Liquorice Root Extract, Pantolactone, Xanthan Gum, Trisodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly masculine Hairspray scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a perfectly quaffed Man at the Beach.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Chemical Exfoliant, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel-Cream Moisturiser rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Chemical Exfoliant.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel-Cream Moisturiser into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, squeaky clean, soft, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer, a little bit brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Nivea Derma Skin Clear Chemical Exfoliant a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly masculine Hairspray scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Tube, as 40ml of an Exfoliant doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re using it multiple times a week like you’re supposed to do.
