With me using Retinol in my Night Time Skincare Routine, I can often go a little bit overboard and get left with either Red, irritated or Peeling Skin. That’s why when the guys over at Earthly Aid very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Jar of their Rescue Cream, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Earthly Aid say about their Rescue Cream.
A natural Rescue Cream that helps you to have more healthy and glowing Skin while deeply nourishing. It’s formulated with special ingredients, each with specific attributes to target the signs of dry, tired and problematic Skin.
Three super ingredients.
High in Omega 3 & 6.
Micro Algae Extract sourced from an Alpine Lake in the Pyrenees Mountains.
Vegan and cruelty Free.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Tamanu Oil, Sacha Inchi Seed Oil, and Chlorella Emersonii Micro Algae Extract, I thought that it had a very delicate fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly floral Lavender scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Jug of Sea Water over some sprigs of Lavender.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Rescue Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Butter rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Rescue Cream.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Butter into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, less red and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Earthly Aid Rescue Cream a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very delicate fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly oceanic Lavender scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained some kind of Ceramide so that it had also repaired my Skin at the same time as rescuing it..
