I Wonder Just How Much Sugar Is Actually In A Cola Bottle? | The Yorkshire Soap Company Cola Bottles Soap & Sugar Whip Scrub

When both me and Jamie were very kindly invited down to The Yorkshire Soap Company Harrogate to celebrate their launch back in 2018, we got chatting to the owners Warren and Marcus who told us all about some of the products that they were working on, including some new Bath Bombs, Fragrances, and an Ice Cream inspired Body Scrub that would be freshly served from an Ice Cream Counter in store. Unfortunately though, due to many different circumstances, it never actually materialised. That’s why when I saw that they had released a range of nine Ice Cream inspired Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrubs whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to check them all out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tub of the Cola Bottles Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical white plastic tub with a pink and black striped label that has The Yorkshire Soap Company Cola Bottles Soap & Sugar Whip Scrub written in dark blue writing and some pictures of some bright white ice creams on it, on a white background.

Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about their Cola Bottles Soap & Sugar Whip Scrub.

Handmade in our York Soap Kitchen, this Whipped Soap and Sugar Scrub will gently smooth and buff your Skin with the exfoliating powers of Sugar. Handmade using natural ingredients and the sweetest Fragrance blends. With added Apricot Powder rich in Vitamin A, C, Potassium, Iron and Calcium.

Warm, sweet and spicy notes of the tiny Sweet that we all used to love to eat. With added Aloe Vera Powder to give your Skin a Vitamin boost.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Water, Sucrose, Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Chloride, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Tetrasodium EDTA, Cinnamyl, Citral, Eugenol, and Limonene, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy and fizzy Cola Bottles scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended up an entire Bag of Cola Bottle Sweets.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Soap and Sugar Whipped Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Body Butter with little pieces of grit in it rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty Soap and Sugar Whipped Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Body Butter with little pieces of grit in it into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Body Scrub that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, much healthier and smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy and fizzy Cola Bottles for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Ice Cream Tub with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Cola Bottles Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy and fizzy Cola Bottles scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy and fizzy Cola Bottles scent was also available in some other products, like a Bath Bomb, a Body Lotion, or maybe even a Shower Gel.
