At the beginning of the year, I always like to set myself a couple of little goals. Nothing too big, just a few things that I would like to achieve over the next twelve months, and I thought that I would tell you the five things that I would like to achieve during 2026 and whether or not I managed to achieve 2025’s goals.

A picture of me holding my Cane.
Anyway, that’s enough of me rambling, here’s the five things that I would like to achieve in 2026.
1. Stop Shopping at Amazon so much.
I know that it’s not really that ethical, but as someone who is Disabled and can’t get to the Shops that easily, Amazon is incredibly useful, as I can just tap something, add it to my Basket, and it’ll usually arrive the very next day. But I do admit that I use it far too much.
2. Finally go for some kind of Lush Spa Treatment.
Even though i’ve written about and used, Lush for over ten years now, i’ve never actually been to Lush for a Spa Treatment. They have loads of different ones, including Bath Experiences, Facials, Full Body Massages, Foot Massages, and even Hair Treatments, and I would love to experience one at some point.
3. Finally go to the Doctors about my Migraines.
I’ve suffered from Migraines for years now and unfortunately they’re getting progressively worse, so I really need to go to the Doctors and have them take a look at them. Hopefully the can prescribe me something for them, as all of the things that I do to get rid of a Migraine and it’s symptoms doesn’t seem to be working that well anymore.
4. Try even more Japanese and Korean Skincare.
I’ve been absolutely loving trying all of the different Japanese and Korean Skincare that’s on offer lately, but I would love to try even more, especially all of the really weird and wonderful formulas that aren’t available in the UK.
Cut down on the amount of Sugar that I eat.
Unfortunately I have a major Sweet Tooth, and love anything that contains Sugar, like Cake, Chocolate, and Sweets, so I would love to try and cut back a little. Not completely cut it out as life without a little bit of Sugar sounds incredibly dull, but just not eat as much of it as I do.
There you go, that’s the five things that I would like to achieve in 2026, but did I manage to achieve 2025’s Goals?
Well yes and no, as I managed to achieve four and a half out of five of them, which I think is amazing.
1. Celebrate my 35th Birthday.
I didn’t actually do that much on my Birthday. But I did manage to see Six the Musical again, as well as see Anastacia perform her Not That Kind 25 Tour in York and Kylie Minogue perform her Tension Tour in Manchester instead.
2. Get to grips with Bradford City Centres new pedestrianised layout.
So this one I kind of half achieved, as even though I still don’t know entirely where I am or going in Bradford City Centre as they’ve removed all of the markers that I used to figure out where I am. I am very slowly getting there.
3. Take a step back from X.
I actually managed to achieve this one, as even though I haven’t closed my X Account, and probably never will, I only really use it to promote my Blog Posts now. I prefer using Bluesky instead as it’s a much more laidback Social Media Platform.
4. Stop buying so many subscription boxes.
So I still managed to buy a few Subscription Boxes last year, including the Lush Kitchen Box and the LookFantastic K-Beauty Skincare Edit, but I haven’t bought as many as I did during 2024.
5. Try and cut back on the amount of Fizzy Pop that I drink.
Ok, so I still drink a fair amount of Fizzy Pop, but i’ve definitely cut back a little bit and drink a lot more Cold Brew Tea and Squash than I used to do.
There you go, that’s the five things that I would like to achieve in 2026 and whether or not I managed to achieve 2025’s goals.

Right now, I’m working on my health. PMDD is kicking my butt. I’m doing everything I can to learn to manage it better. I also want to finish writing and maybe publish my PMDD book.
Hopefully you feel much better soon
