Last week, both me and Jamie went to see Kylie Minogue perform her Tension Tour at the AO Arena, and after having an absolutely amazing time, I thought that I would tell you all about it.
Firstly, I just have to say that I wasn’t really a massive fan of her Support Act Jodie Harsh, as even though they played some fantastic remixes of some banging Dance Tracks, they used quite a lot of Strobe Lights during their performance and it unfortunately quite severely triggered the Light Sensitivity in my Eyes.

Her entrance of Lights, Camera, Action was phenomenal, because as well as being so full of base and having quite a cinematic opening to it that it shook the floor, it also got everyone in the mood for the rest of the evening.
She of course performed In Your Eyes, Get Outta My Way, Come Into My World, Spinning Around, Better The Devil You Know, The Locomotion, Slow, Can’t Get You Outta My Head, and Padam Padam, which I thought were all amazing.
Her more Ballad-like Songs were also incredible, as she performed a really cinematic version of Confide In Me, On A Night Like This, I Believe In You, Things We Do For Love, and Hold On To Now which I thought all sounded fantastic and very emotional.
I also really liked that she performed a couple of Songs from Disco, including Say Something, Supernova, Real Groove, Monday Blues, and Where Does The DJ Go, as due to the pandemic she was unfortunately never able to perform them live when they were released.
Another thing that I really liked was all of the Audience Interaction, as she was constantly talking to us, including telling us about some of the meanings behind her Songs, that she had to record most of Disco at Home, and she even picked someone out of the Audience and sung an A Capella version of Where The Wild Roses Grow to them.
All of her performance was amazing, but I really liked that she finished off with an encore of both Tension and Love At First Sight, as I thought that it brought the Show to a fabulous end.
This was just a few of my favourite moments from the evening, but she also performed a whole lot more, and I of course was singing, clapping and generally rocking out to it all. My Voice and Throat actually hurt quite a lot the next day, but I guess that’s just the result of a fantastic evening.
I am absolutely thrilled to have seen her perform live again, and if you can still manage to get your Hands on some Tickets, I highly recommend that you go see her as she’s incredible!
