Oh Anymore For Anymore, Oh Coconut Shie Or The Crazy-Walker | Lush Coconut Shie Face Mask

One of my favourite ever Hydrating Face Masks definitely has to be the GlamGlow ThirstyMud™️ Hydrating Treatment, as I absolutely love how silky soft, bouncy and intensely hydrated it leaves my Skin feeling. Unfortunately though, it’s sadly no longer available to buy in the UK, which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that will hopefully give me the same results that’s also available to buy in the UK. That’s why when I saw that Lush had released a Coconut Shie Face Mask that claims to contain five different types of Coconut to leave you with silky soft, bouncy and intensely hydrated Skin, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Coconut Shie Face Mask.

Step right up for hydration.
Ding ding! You’re a winner! For soothed, soft and supple Skin, your fête is sealed with a prize-worthy bounty of moisturising Coconut Milk, Coconut Yoghurt and Coconut Water, we’re hardly shy about the power of Coconut.

What’s in it for you?

  • Kaolin Clay draws Dirt and excess Oil from the Skin, without stripping moisture, helping support your Skin’s Natural Barrier.
  • Skin feeling dry and tight? Coconut Milk steps right up to the task in drenching complexions in comfortable hydration.
  • You’ll find all types of Coconut in here, including Coconut Blossom Nectar for its ability to lock moisture and condition the Skin.

Leaving the World Lusher than we found it.

This self-preserving product is formulated to stay fresh and effective without added Synthetic Preservatives.

How to use.

Apply generously to clean, dry Skin and relax for ten to fifteen minutes before rinsing off. A perfect treat for parched Skin.

How to store.

This Mask is made fresh and reaches you fresh so you can get the most benefit from the beautiful ingredients inside. It needs to be stored in the Fridge (between 2°C and 8°C) and used within 28 days.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Kaolin, Glycerine, Coconut Milk Powder, Coconut Water, Cornstarch, Coconut Yoghurt, Coconut Blossom Nectar, Coconut, Tonka Absolute, Vetivert Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin, Fragrance, and Colour 77947, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chocolatey Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended up an entire Bar of Bounty into a massive Tub of Coconut Yoghurt.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Coconut Shie Face Mask a nine point seven out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly chocolatey Coconut scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had lasted a little bit longer, because unless you’re slathering multiple layers of it on at a time, it’s actually quite hard to use 75g of a Face Mask in under 28 days.
