Even though it’s usually a very small range, one of my favourite limited edition Lush ranges definitely has to be their Father’s Day range, as it generally means that we get to see some of their more deeper, mintier and masculine smelling products. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Father’s Day 2023 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up an Out Of This World Bath Bomb, a Box of Candy Wash Showder, a Box of Life’s A Beach Showder, and a Block of Blue Moon Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all four delicious smelling products.

The Out Of This World Bath Bomb.

A Citrus scented trip past the Stratosphere.
3,2,1, blast off into Outer Space, take one giant leap into your Bath and Rocket round the Solar System because you are out of this World! Sweet Wild Orange and Lime Oils combine for one spectacularly uplifting fragrance to boost your Mood and help revitalise. How to use.

No need for your own Spacesuit, just slide into your Bath Water and drop the Astronaut in too, and prepare for re-entry into astronomical citrus-scented Waters.

How to store.

Store in a cool, dry place until you’re ready for a Bath that’ll take you beyond the Stars.

The Candy Wash Showder.

A Sugar powered Scrub.
Is it a Scrub? Is it a Shower Powder? It’s a Showder! Candy Wash’s gently exfoliating Granulated Sugar is balanced with soothing Calamine Powder and mixed through with a scattering of delicate Delphinium Petals. After whipping up a thick, creamy lather, it’ll leave your Skin in heaven with an idyllic sweet fragrance.

How to use.

Shake out a generous handful of Candy Wash, add Water, then scrub and rub a thick, creamy, paradisiacal sweet lather all over, before rinsing away.

The Life’s A Beach Showder.

A Vanilla clean sweep.
Is it a Scrub? Is it a Shower Powder? It’s a Showder! One big scoop of Life’s A Beach scrubbed all over your Body is enough for soft, sunny Skin that’s ready for the Promenade, thanks to the excellent exfoliating duo of Fine Sea Salt and Sand. Comforting Tonka and irresistible Vanilla Absolutes combine to leave you smelling as sweet as an Ice Cream Cone.

How to use.

Rub and scrub a big scoop all over the Body under the Water when you’re having a Shower and rinse away for soft, swell, sunny Skin!

The Blue moon Soap.

An illuminating Citrus lather.
Light up the darkness and Wash away your worries with this refreshingly uplifting Citrus glow-in-the-dark Soap. Rapeseed Oil, Glycerine, and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil create the rich, creamy base of this Soap, while Bergamot and Grapefruit Oils pair together for a celestial scent. Glimmer in the Moon’s glow, as luminescent Zinc Sulfide creates a new Lunar Cycle in the space of your Bathroom.

How to use.

Stellar citrus scents are released from this Soap’s lather. Cleanse and rinse.

How to store.

Keep in a cool, dry place after use, like one of our Soap Dishes.

The Lush Out Of This World Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Popping Candy, Lime Oil, Sweet Wild Orange oil, Olibanum Resinoid, Green Tea Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Glycerine, Cornstarch, Talc, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose, Tin Oxide, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 45410, Colour 17200, Colour 45410:1, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:2, Colour 42090:2, Colour 15850:1, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Banana scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you peel a perfectly ripened Banana.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Blue all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Lilac colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it also released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Rocket was actually taking off in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Banana for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Candy Wash Showder.

Its scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Granulated Sugar, Calamine Powder, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Fragrance, Dried Pink Delphinium Petals, Clove Bud oil, Vanilla Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Strawberry Candy Floss scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bag of Strawberry Candy Floss from the Fair.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured some of it out of it’s Box, had added a little bit of Water to it and had started to massage it into my Skin, it created an incredibly thin and creamy lather with little pieces of Granulated Sugar running through it that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that whenever I used it as a Body Scrub, that the pieces of Granulated Sugar and Calamine Powder blended together to give my Skin a nice and gentle bit of exfoliation.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Strawberry Candy Floss for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short rectangular Cardboard Washing Powder Box that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I found that it was incredibly hard to keep dry whenever I used it.

The Lush Life’s A Beach Showder.

Its scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Fine Sea Salt, Sand, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Vanilla Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Sandalwood Oil, Tonka Absolute, Gardenia Extract, Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin, and Hydroxycitronellol, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Coconut and Vanilla scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of a very cheap Supermarket own brand Vanilla Candle.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured some of it out of it’s Box, had added a little bit of Water to it and had started to massage it into my Skin, it created an incredibly thin and creamy lather with little pieces of Fine Sea Salt and Sand running through it that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that whenever I used it as a Body Scrub, that the pieces of Fine Sea Salt and Sand combined together to give my Skin a really deep and abrasive bit of exfoliation.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Coconut and Vanilla for hours after I had used it.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Limonene, Bergamot Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Talc, Sodium Hydroxide, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin oxide, Luminescent Zinc Sulphide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Colour 77499, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:1, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Palma Violet Sweets into a massive Jug of Blackcurrant Juice.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Out Of This World bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Candy Wash Showder an eight out of ten, the Lush Life’s A Beach Showder a five point five out of ten, and the Lush Blue Moon Soap a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Out Of This World Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Banana scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Candy Wash Showder, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Strawberry Candy Floss scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Bottle or Tub instead of in a Cardboard Box. I really liked the Lush Life’s A Beach Showder, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, especially how abrasive it was, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Coconut and Vanilla scent. I also wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Bottle or Tub instead of in a Cardboard Box. I really liked the Lush Blue Moon Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blackcurrant and Violet scent, what it did when i used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range.
