There Must Be Diamonds In Your Eyes | Garnier SkinActive Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream | Gifted

One of my favourite Vitamin C Serums at the moment definitely has to be the Garnier Vitamin C Anti-Dark Spot & Brightening Serum, as I absolutely love how silky soft, hydrated and brighter it leaves my Skin looking and feeling. That’s why when the guys over at Garnier very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Tube of their SkinActive Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream that claims to contain a blend of Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Caffeine and Banana Powder to leave you with silky soft, brighter, more awake and younger-looking Under Eyes in just one week, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A long and thin conical gradient bright white and yellow plastic tube with a white plastic lid that has Garnier SkinActive Brightening Eye Cream written in bold black writing and Vitamin C written in bright orange writing on it, on a white background.

How to use.

1. Apply dots of the Eye Cream around your Eyes.
2. Tap with your Fingers.
3. Blend while massaging.

Its scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Apricot Kernel Oil, Niacinamide, Acrylamite/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer, Silica, Titanium Dioxide, Isohexadecone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dinethicone Crosspolymer, Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol, Caffeine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tocopherol, Chlorphenesin, Polysorbate 80, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Triethanolomine, Iron Oxides, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Banana Fruit Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane, Sulfonic Acid, Mica, Sorbitan Oleate, Banana Fruit Juice, Pineapple Fruit Extract, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Lactic Acid, Tin Oxide, Potassium Sorbate, and Aluminum Hydroxide, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly nutty Cornflake scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Box of some Supermarket own brand Cornflakes.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Eye Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Under Eyes, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Eye Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, firmer, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, brighter, more awake, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a long and thin conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, it unfortunately didn’t have a Nozzle Applicator like most of the other Eye Creams that i’ve tried in the past have done, which made it really frustrating to use.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier SkinActive Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly nutty Cornflake scent or it’s really frustrating to use packaging.
