I definitely think that my sense of smell might have changed lately, as scents that I used to hate like fresh and grassy or deep and woody scents suddenly seem to smell really appealing. That’s why when I saw that Lush had released a Guardian Of The Forest Body Spray that claims to smell like walking through a Forest whilst I was browsing through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been wearing it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Guardian Of The Forest Body Spray.
Follow the trail of earthy Oakmoss Absolute to find yourself in Emerald swathes of the freshest Foliage.
Scent description.
Revel in an aroma reminiscent of balmy Morning Dew after quenching Rains. Let the rousing spice of Cypress Oil surround and revive weary senses.
You’ll love this if you like.
- Grounding Oakmoss and bursts of juicy Lime Oil.
- The Guardian Of The Forest Bath Bomb.
- Embracing your inner woodland sprite.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained DRF Alcohol, Water, Fragrance, Glycerin, Cypress Oil, Lime Oil, Rosewood Oil, Oakmoss Absolute, Oakmoss Extract, Amyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly woody scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a very mossy and muddy Forest after it’s just rained.
It’s longevity.
I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it onto my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still strongly smell it on my Skin when I rolled into Bed at about Midnight. I also really liked that after I had been wearing it for a couple of hours, that it started to smell even stronger somehow as I kept getting fresh bursts of both the Lime Oil and Oakmoss Absolute throughout the day.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall Black Plastic Kitchen Spray Bottle with a very tough lockable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Guardian Of The Forest Body Spray a nine point seven out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and grassy yet ever so slightly woody scent, it’s longevity, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was a little bit easier to get hold of as it’s unfortunately not available in every Lush store. I also think that it’s one of those Fragrances that you either have to already know that you love or need to smell before you buy, as it’s not a scent that everyone will love.
If you would like to check out the Lush Guardian Of The Forest Body Spray for yourselves, then you can either pop into your local Lush store, or you can find it online here.
