Even though I could definitely stand to be a lot better when it comes to being more eco-friendly, i always try to use as many Solid and Refillable Products as I possibly can, especially when it comes to my Skincare and Body Care Routine. That’s why when I had heard that The Body Shop had released a range of Cleansing Face & Body Bars that claim to leave you with silky soft, cleansed and moisturised Skin, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Satsuma Cleansing Face & Body Bar, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Water, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance, Limonene, Mandarin Orange Fruit Extract, Shea Butter, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Citral, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Dehydroacetate, CI 15510/Orange 4, and CI 77499/Iron Oxides, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Satsuma scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you peel a perfectly ripened Satsuma.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy lather that spread really easily across my Face and Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, matte, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, much healthier and smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Satsuma for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very thick Paper Wrapper that kept the Bar really fresh until I was ready to use it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Satsuma Cleansing Face & Body Bar a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Satsuma scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and its packaging, but I just wish that it was also available in some of their other iconic scents, like their British Rose, Lemon, Pink Grapefruit, or maybe even their Tea Tree ranges. I also wish that it had come with some kind of a Metal Tin to store it in, as even though I placed it on a Soap Dish to dry after I had used it, it still managed to leave little Orange Puddles all over my Bathroom.
