My Five Favourite Scents Of Summer

Even though i’m not really a massive fan of Summer as I don’t cope that well with too much heat, there are a few things that I do actually like about Summer, including my Birthday as it’s at the beginning of August, being able to eat outside and all of the different delicious scents that it brings, and I thought that I would tell you my five favourite scents of Summer.

Anyway, that’s enough of me rambling, here’s my five favourite scents of Summer.

1. The smell of freshly cut Grass.
Even though I suffer horrendously with Hayfever, I do actually like the smell of freshly cut Grass. I happen to live opposite a massive Field so during Summer I get little whiffs of it all day, and even though it causes me to constantly sneeze, I still strangely love it’s fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly earthy scent.
2. The Smell of Strawberries & Cream.
I know that Strawberries & Cream is a quintessential Summer scent for everyone, but as everywhere seems to release something either smelling or tasting of Strawberries during Summer, like Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Milkshakes or just that Fresh Strawberries are available in every Supermarket, it’s something that I just can’t seem to get away from. It’s lucky that I actually like the delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sour smell of Strawberries, haha!

3. The smell of Mango Iced Tea.
I know that this is a little bit of a weird one, but during Summer, especially during August when the heat ends up getting too much for me to handle, I drink so many Mango Iced Teas, both homemade ones and the Frozen Mango Iced Teas from Starbucks, that whenever I smell it’s incredibly fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sour scent, it always reminds me of Summer.

4. The Smell of Davidoff Horizon.
I know that this is another strange one, but I like to change up the Fragrance that i’m wearing depending on both my mood and the season, and Davidoff Horizon is usually the Fragrance that I end up wearing during the Summer. I’m pretty sure that it’s unfortunately been discontinued though, which is a real shame as it has such a delicious and refreshing scent that’s just perfect for Summer.
5. The smell of Water spraying out of a Fountain.
I already love the sound of Water gushing out of a Fountain, but it’s smell on a boiling hot Summer’s Day is unlike any other. There’s a massive Fountain in both Bradford City Park and Victoria Leeds, and on a boiling hot Summer’s Day I absolutely love sitting near them both and inhaling their fresh and watery yet ever so slightly earthy and metallic scent for as long as I possibly can.
I have quite a lot of other favourite scents of Summer, but I just thought that I would tell you five of them.
