As you probably already know, I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases anything new. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Halloween 2021 range, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Ghosty Bath Bomb, a Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb, an Alien Bubble Bar, a Screamo Bubble Blower, a Bottle of the Lord of Misrule Shower Gel, a Tub of the Ectoplasm Shower Slime, and a Tub of the Monster Octopus Shower Jelly, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all seven delicious smelling products.

The Ghosty Bath Bomb

Spooky, but make it cute. Escape from the Land of the living and watch Ghosty push Rainbow Bath Art across the Water to the sound of crackles and pops. Leave feeling fresh and ready for fun with it’s Tropical Fruit Fragrance.

How to use.

Lower into your Bath and Ghosty will put on a show for you, whilst Lemongrass, Sicilian Lemon and Persian Lime Oils lift your Spirits.

How to store.

Keep cool and dry until ready to fly.

The Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb.

Prepare for mischief and merriment with this Patchouli and Vanilla fizzer. A fragrance loved by many, this familiar character has had a Costume change this year. Allow the colours of the Court Jester to transform your Bath Water and tickle your senses.

How to use.

Pop in the Bath to unmask the Jester and bedeck yourself in bursts of Yellow, Blue, Red and Green.

How to store.

If you don’t want to be a fool, keep dry and cool.

The Alien Bubble Bar.

Prepare to be transported to another World with mountains of uplifting and zesty Bubbles. New dimensions await as neon Waters refresh and revive with uplifting Bergamot and Litsea Cubeba Oils.

How to use.

Crumble a little, or the whole thing under running Water for juicy, fruity neon Water and out of this World Bubbles.

How to store.

Keep cool and dry until you’re ready for UFO sightings and extra-terrestrial bathing.

The Screamo Bubble Blower.

Giggle with a Ghost while blowing Cherry scented Bubbles through the Mouth of the Scream. Swish the Blower into the Bath Water to create Purple Bubbles that will bring joy to even the darkest of Halloween Nights.

How to use.

Using the Stick, hold the product under running Water to create tons of Bubbles, then swish around in the bubbly Water and blow the Bubbles through the Mouth of the Scream for notes of Emo and post-hardcore. Want more, you can use on repeat! Just dry off on a Soap Dish between Screamo sessions.

How to store.

Keep in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to be without fright and blow Bubbles all through the Night.

The Ectoplasm Shower Slime.

Rinse away the Cobwebs with this fresh and fruity goo. A squidgy blend of Xanthan Gum, Grapefruit and Tangerine Oil mean that this Slime is not only Plastic free, but soft and moisturises the Skin while you wash.

How to use.

Scoop into your Hands and squidge away, and when you’re ready to wash, lather up on wet Skin and rinse off.

The Lord of Misrule Shower Gel.

A feast for the senses in the Shower! Get down and earthy with this mischievous, herbal blend of Patchouli, Peppercorn and Black Pepper with an intriguing Vanilla Absolute sweetness.

How to use.

Hop in the Shower and rub this addictive lather all over your Body for a rich and creamy feel, leaving your Skin fine and fragrant.

The Monster Octopus Shower Jelly.

This tentacled Passion Fruit scented Jelly is not only fruity, bubbly and great fun to wash with but will dance with you too! Tango together in the Tub and watch it wiggle, slide and jive as you wash.

How to use.

Wibble and wobble the whole Jelly over your Body and Hair for a skin-softening wash. Bonus tip, slide the Jelly across the Tub to watch the Octopus Dance.

The Lush Ghosty Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Popping Candy, Titanium Dioxide, Lemongrass Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Persian Lime Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Talc, Cornstarch, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycoll, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Propylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 42090:2, Colour 77491, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:2, Colour 45410, Colour 45410:1, Colour 15850:1, Colour 17200, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly astringent Lemon and Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Bottle of Lemon and Lime Oil into a massive Bucket of Water.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of dazzling Red, Yellow, Blue and Purple all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful White Foam to turn my entire Bath a gorgeous shimmering Pastel Lilac colour. I also really liked that as it fizzed and hissed, that it released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like there was actually a Ghost floating around in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly astringent Lemon and Lime for hours after I had used it.

The Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Black Pepper Oil, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Vanilla Oil, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Dipropylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 42090:2, Colour 47005:1, Colour 42090, Colour 7791, and Colour 15850, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into an Incense Store.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of vibrant deep Blue and bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a gorgeous bright Green colour, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of beautiful bright Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the gorgeous bright Green to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Teal colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Alien Bubble Bar.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornstarch, Bergamot Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Glycerine, Water, Tragacanth Gum, DRF Alcohol, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 47005, Colour 77499, Colour 59040, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you’re making a Key Lime Pie.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft neon Green Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Grass at Midday.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Screamo Bubble Blower.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Carbonate, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzoin Resinoid, Ylang Ylang Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin, Limonene, Colour 77499, Colour 17200, and Colour 42053, I thought that it had a delicious rich and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Bakewell scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Box of Bakewell Tarts.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft shimmering dark Purple Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds at Midnight. I also really liked that I was actually able to blow some very odd shaped Bubbles through it, as even though  the idea of a Bubble Blower sounds great, actually creating Bubbles through one is very tricky to do.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious rich and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Marzipan and Cherry for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Ectoplasm Shower Slime.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Lureth Sulfate, Water, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerine, Cornstarch, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Xanthan Gum, Limonene, Tangerine Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, Fresh Tangerine Juice, Citral, Linalool, Fragrance, and Colour 59040, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dropped a partially chewed Orange Starburst into a massive Glass of Tangerine Juice. ,

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Slime, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly balmy Putty rather than a thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime.

what it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly balmy Putty into an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lord of Misrule Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Black Peppercorn Absolute, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, Black Pepper Oil, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Wheatgerm Oil, Carrageenan Extract, Water, Propylene Glycol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 47005, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into an Incense Store.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and gloopy yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Monster Octopus Shower Jelly.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Fresh Passion Fruit Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Fragrance, Vanilla Absolute, Blackcurrant Absolute, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Tagetes Oil, Water, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Limonene, Colour 14700, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Vimto on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery, and was more like a really tough and rubbery Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Vimto for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Ghosty Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Alien Bubble Bar an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Screamo Bubble Blower a nine out of ten, the Lush Ectoplasm Shower Slime a nine point five out of ten, the Lush Lord of Misrule Shower Gel a nine out of ten, and the Lush Monster Octopus Shower Jelly an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Ghosty Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly astringent Lemon and Lime sent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Alien Bubble Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly creamy Lime scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger as I only managed to get two Baths out of it. I really liked the Lush Screamo Bubble Blower, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Marzipan and Cherry scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Cherry. I really liked the Lush Ectoplasm Shower Slime, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sweet Tangerine scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Lord of Misrule Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly creamy Patchouli scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Monster Octopus Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Vimto scent, it’s consistency, what it did when i used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Passion Fruit.
