One of Lush’s products that i’ve always found intriguing definitely has to be their Showders, as even though they’re essentially just a crumbled up Shower Bomb, I love that they can be used in so many different ways, including a Shower Gel, a Body Scrub, or even as a Bubble Bath. That’s why when they very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Box of their Human Rights Showder that’s been released to highlight that our Human Rights are under threat with all proceeds minus VAT, going to EachOther, a small UK focused charity that aims to tell stories that would otherwise go unheard through Independent Journalism, Storytelling and Filmmaking, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

The essential Human Rights that we all rely on to protect us are under threat.

Take a handful of this Eucalyptus, Peppermint and Spearmint-scented Showder, add Water, and lather the fresh Suds onto your Skin.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Kaolin, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Fragrance, Peppermint Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Spearmint Oil, Water, Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, Linalool, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly Oceanic Eucalyptus and Spearmint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you unwrap a piece of Peppermint Rock at the Seaside.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured some of it out of it’s Box, had added a little bit of Water to it and had started to massage it into my Skin, it created an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty lather that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly oceanic Eucalyptus and Spearmint for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall rectangular Cardboard Washing Powder Box that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I found that it was incredibly hard to keep dry whenever I used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Human Rights Showder an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly oceanic Eucalyptus and Spearmint scent, what it did whem I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub or Bottle, as once the Box came into contact with any kind of moisture, it more or less instantly disintegrated.
