Even though it’s usually a very small range, I absolutely love it when Lush releases their Lunar New Year range, as I really like seeing how they’ve managed to encapsulate whatever year it is into a Bath Bomb, a Bubble Bar, or a Shower Gel. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Lunar New Year 2023 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Gold Rabbit Bath Bomb, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Sandalwood Oil, Bergamot Oil, Neroli Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Talc, Cream Of Tartar, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Dipropylene Glycol, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 45410″2, Colour 15851, Colour 77491, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly zesty cut Grass scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Window after someone has just finished mowing the Lawn on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Pink all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of vibrant bright Gold all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Pink to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Rose Gold colour.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly zesty cut Grass for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Gold Rabbit Bath Bomb a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and grassy yet ever so slightly zesty cut Grass scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range and that it had also done a little bit more when I had used it.
