When I Hear You Breathe, I Get Wings To Fly | Lush Lunar New Year 2024 Range

One of my favourite times of the year, definitely has to be Lunar New Year, as even though I don’t celebrate it myself, I absolutely love seeing all of the colourful, mystical and traditional celebrations that it brings. Thats’ why when I saw that Lush had released a Lunar New Year 2024 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up an Inner Dragon Bath Bomb, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A medium golden orange spherical shaped bath bomb that has a bright magenta pink Chinese Dragon wrapped around it, on a white background.

Here’s wat Lush say about their Inner Dragon Bath Bomb.

Bathe brightly, and awaken your inner Dragon!
It’s time to awaken your inner Dragon with a Bath Bomb inspired by the Chinese Zodiac Sign. Soar to the Sky with the fresh scent of Neroli Oil, Orange Flower Absolute, and Sicilian Red Mandarin Oils. Inner Dragon’s the perfect way to kick-start the Lunar New Year.
How to use.
Drop into your hot Bath, and let the warming Ginger and Mandarin clear last year’s cobwebs.
How to store.
No need to hoard this Dragon away, just keep them somewhere cool and dry, until you’re ready to use them.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Alcohol Denat, Cornstarch, Neroli Oil, Sicilian Red Mandarin Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute, Ginger Powder, Mandarin Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Silica, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Hydroxycitronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 14700, Colour 47005, Colour 15510, Colour 77491, Colour 15985:1, Colour 19140:1, and Colour 45410:1, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly salty Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Room full of Violets after you’ve just got back from being at the Beach..

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Red all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Orange all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Red to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Vermilion Red colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly salty Violet for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Inner Dragon Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly salty Violet scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had contained some pieces of Popping Candy so that it had sounded like a Dragon was actually rising from my Bath.
