If you didn’t already know, as well as using a Body Wash or Shower Gel I always like to use some kind of a Physical Soap whenever I take a Bath or Shower as a First Cleanse to remove all of the Dirt and Sweat that’s on my Skin. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released a Soap 2025 range that includes four delicious smelling Soaps, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Block of Lemongrass Soap, and a Block of Lily Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both delicious smelling products.

The Lush Lemongrass Soap.

Don’t be bitter, lather better.
With Lemongrass and Wheatgrass, perfect for washing your Feet after grounding on the Grass, or the whole Body for a fragrant, mood-boosting cleanse.

What’s in it for you?

• Our Proper Soap is proper lovely and made the traditional way by saponification. We mix it by hand, adding in beautiful ingredients for their effects, pour it hot and let it cure before it takes pride of place by your Sink. This Coconut and Rapeseed Soap Base gives a nice firm Bar with fluffy Bubbles.
• Bucketloads of Lemongrass for its toning, mood-boosting abilities while Fresh Wheatgrass works on promoting radiant Skin.

Leaving the World Lusher than we found it.

This Product needs no Packaging and no introduction. It will arrive naked and proud in your Parcel because we want to strip back on unnecessary Packaging.

This Self-Preserving Product is formulated to stay fresh and effective without added Synthetic Preservatives.

How to use.

Lather up Lemongrass suds under Warm Water and smooth across the Body. Particularly lovely on Feet that need some extra TLC.

How to store.

Store somewhere dry and draining in between uses, like one of our Soap Dishes!

The Lush Lily Soap.

No need to gild this Lily.
A soothing White Lily Infusion Soap, with a delicate balance of Neroli, Jasmine and exotic Ylang Ylang, remindful of old school Floral scents.

The Lush Lemongrass Soap.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Fresh Wheatgrass Decoction, Fresh Lemongrass Extracted In Glycerine , Propylene Glycol, Water, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Limonene, Fragrance, Lemongrass Oil, Bergamot Oil, Citral, Linalool, Wheatgerm oil, Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Gardenia Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Bicarbonate, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Geraniol, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into a Lemon.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy lather that spread really easily across my Body and Hands.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Propylene Glycol, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Water, Fresh White Lily Infusion, Sodium Stearate, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Neroli Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Glycerine, Gardenia Extract, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Bicarbonate, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sweet Lily scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Bouquet of Lilies.

What it did when I used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Lemongrass Soap a nine point five out of ten, and the Lush Lily Soap an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Lemongrass Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Lemon scent was also available in some other products, like a Body Lotion, a Body Spray, or maybe even a Shower Gel. I really liked the Lush Lily Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sweet Lily scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger.
