There’s nothing better than curling up on the Sofa with a nice Cup of Tea and a good Film, especially during Winter when it’s absolutely freezing outside and gets dark at three o’clock in the afternoon. That’s why when I had heard that Bird & Blend Tea Company had released their Movie Night collection, which includes Cherry Cola Bottles, Movie Rebels, Mr Frosty, Poppin’ Xmas – Butter Toffee Popcorn, and Poppin’ Xmas – Sweet ‘N’ Salty Popcorn, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Pouch of the Cherry Cola Bottles Loose Leaf Tea and a Pouch of the Poppin’ Xmas – Sweet ‘N’ Salty Popcorn Loose Leaf Tea, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Bird & Blend Tea Company say about both delicious Teas.

It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I couldn’t really taste any of the Cherry or Cranberry pieces, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer I thought that it tasted incredibly spicy and bitter.
It’s taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Apple Pieces, Hibiscus, Rosehip, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cola Nut, Lime Leaves, Orange Peel, Stevia, Freeze Dried Cranberry, Freeze Dried Cherry, and natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Cola taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured several spoons of ground up Cinnamon into a massive Glass of boiling hot Cherry Cola.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive resealable Paper Pouch which meant that all of the Tea Leaves stayed extremely fresh and didn’t lose any of their delicious flavour.

It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for 3 minutes at 80ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted very sweet and nutty, and that when I brewed it for any longer I thought that it tasted incredibly sour and bitter.
It’s taste.
I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Chinese Chunmee Green Tea, Toasted Rice, Licorice, Cardamom, Puffed Quinoa, Colendula Petals, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and buttery yet ever so slightly salty Popcorn taste to it that kind of reminded me of eating a massive box of Sweet ‘N’ Salty Popcorn whilst watching a really action packed Film in a very packed Cinema.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Cherry Cola Bottles Loose Leaf Tea an eight point out of ten, and the Bird & Blend Tea Company Poppin’ Xmas – Sweet ‘N’ Salty Popcorn Loose Leaf Tea an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Bird & Blend Tea Company Cherry Cola Bottles Loose Leaf Tea, as I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Cherry Cola taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had tasted a little bit more of Cherry. I love a good cup of tea and Bird & Blend teas but this collection sounds so unusual, never heard of anything like that before! If I was going to pick one I would definitely pick Cherry Cola, it sounds really good.
