Take The Dry Skin Off My Feet | Superdrug Tea Tree & Peppermint Nourishing Foot Mask

I’ve always had very dry Skin on my Feet and am constantly applying some kind of Foot Cream in an attempt to make them feel softer, which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that will soften and moisturise my very dry and rough Feet. That’s why when I saw that Superdrug had released a Tea Tree & Peppermint Nourishing Foot Mask that claims to deeply moisturise dry, rough and cracked Skin whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well I finally used it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Me wearing a pair of bright white plastic socks stood on a dark grey carpet.

Here’s what Superdrug say about their Tea Tree & Peppermint Nourishing Foot Mask.

Individually wrapped, one treatment pack. Enriched with Tea Tree, Peppermint and Vitamin E to deeply moisturise the Skin helping to soothe and soften dry, rough and cracked Heels.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Olive Oil, Petrolatum, Tea Tree Extract, Peppermint Leaf Extract, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Squalane, Rosemary Extract, Lavender Extract, Breckland Thyme Leaf Extract, Rose Geranium Extract, Dimethiconol/Silica Crosspolymer, Eucalyptus Leaf Extract, Tocopherol Acetate, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Thenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Salicylic Acid, Menthol, Polyglutanic Acid, Disodium ETA, and Fragrance, I thought that it had an extremely overpowering deep and grassy yet ever so slightly medicinal Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had accidentally spilt an entire Bottle of Peppermint Oil in a very small Room.

It’s size.

I really liked it’s size, as even though I have quite wide sized Feet, it managed to fit my Feet like a Glove as I only had to very loosely fasten the pieces of Sticky Tape that are supposed to keep the Mask in place around your Ankles.

It’s material.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s material, as this was made out of a very thin Plastic that made it feel like I was wearing two very thin Plastic Supermarket Carrier Bags around my Feet. They also crinkled whenever I walked, which as you can probably guess was a very strange sensation.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had removed both of the little Plastic Socks from their packaging, had cut across their Ankles and had managed to put them on my Feet, they started to release lots of thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamySerum that attached the Plastic Socks to my Feet really securely so that I could walk around without worrying that they were going to fall off.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, cool, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them smelling of extremely overpowering deep and grassy yet ever so slightly medicinal Peppermint for hours after I had used it..

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh until I was ready to use it, also meant that none of it’s Serum leaked anywhere.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Superdrug Tea Tree & Peppermint Nourishing Foot Mask an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s extremely overpowering deep and grassy yet ever so slightly medicinal Peppermint scent, it’s size, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but the material of the little Plastic Socks just felt too strange against my Skin for me to totally love it.
