Take Another Look | Lush Don’t Look At Me Face Mask

You may remember back in August I went to Lush Oxford Street, well as well as picking up a whole host of lovely products, I also picked up one of their brand new face masks.
Now that Don’t Look At Me is available in all Lush stores, I can finally tell you all about it.
Lush describe Don’t Look At Me as a rich scrubbery face mask containing Murumuru Butter, to nourish your skin, Ground Rice, Rice Oil, and Grapefruit Oil, to expoliate your dry tired areas, Lemon Juice to tone, Tunisian Naroli to brighten, and Organic Silken Tofu to leave your skin feeling silky smooth.
The packaging is like any other Lush fresh face mask, it of course comes in their signature black tubs, which don’t forget, once you’ve used up five of them, you can recycle and get a free face mask. I love that Lush are always trying to help the planet.
The smell of this one is quite unique to the rest of Lush’s face masks. It is the only one to my knowledge that has a fruitier undertone. It does smell incredibly fruity but the best way I can describe it is, and I know this sounds strange, but it reminds me of their BB Seaweed mask mixed with Lady Grey tea. I told you it sounded strange, haha!

Like most of Lush’s face masks, it unfortunately never sets. It doesn’t drip or flake off, but it doesn’t set. If I’m using a face mask, I want to be able to feel it lock into place and do something.
The results on my skin were incredible. It left my skin matte and feeling silky smooth, I think that has something to do with the Murumuru Butter and the Grounded Rice. Also, because of all the scrubbery particals in the mask, you can pretty much skip your expoliant, just slap on a light moisturiser and you’re good to go.
Out of ten, I would have to rate this an eight. I am extremely impressed with what it does to my skin, but it does lose a few points due to the fact that it doesn’t completely set.
I’ve tried quite a lot of Lush’s face masks, and never really found my favourite, but I finally think I have after trying this one. As soon as i run out, I will be rushing to Lush Leeds Spa for another tub as soon as I can. I only wish there did a bigger size.
If you would like to buy your very own tub of Don’t Look At Me, you can either pop into your local Lush store, or you can purchase it online here
