I’ve never really been a massive fan of Lush’s Skincare range, as it just doesn’t work that well for my Skin, but I do actually rather like their Face Masks, and have pretty much tried every single one that they’ve released. That’s why after trying and loving the Bring Us Some Figgy Pudding Face Mask, the Coconut Shie Face Mask, and the Nanakusa Gayo Face Mask from their recent launch of Face Masks earlier this year, I thought that I would pop down to my local Lush store and pick up another one from the range. Well after browsing through their Fresh Counter for a good fifteen minutes, I eventually picked up a Tub of the Nutkins Face Mask, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Dry Skin, you’ll go Nuts for this.
Bring your best Skin out of hibernation and into hydration with lashings of conditioning Chestnut Puree. Not nutty enough for ya? How about a helping of rich Hazelnut Butter and soothing Acorn Jelly to keep things soft and supple.
Warning, Keep away from Squirrels.
What’s in it for you?
Kaolin Clay draws Dirt and excess Oil from the Skin, without stripping moisture, helping support your Skin’s Natural Barrier.
Brazilian Orange Oil helps tone and refresh the Skin, leaving you feeling bright-faced and bushy-tailed!
In a Nut Shell, Ground Hazelnuts exfoliate Skin as you wash this Mask off. Leaving you feeling soft, smooth and smelling delicious.

This Self-Preserving Product is formulated to stay fresh and effective without added Synthetic Preservatives.
How to use.
Apply generously to clean Skin and relax for fifteen minutes before rinsing off, revealing a polished and moisturised complexion.
How to store.
This Mask is made fresh and reaches you fresh so you can get the most benefit from the beautiful ingredients inside. It needs to be stored in the Fridge between 2°C and 8°C and used within 28 days.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Chestnut Puree, Glycerine, Organic Hazelnut Butter, Kaolin, Cornstarch, Acorn Jelly, Ground Hazelnut, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Cinnamal, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Almond scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating a Cherry Bakewell in front of a roaring Fire on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Day Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Face Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Day Cream into a thin and creamy Hot Cloth Cleanser with little pieces of Ground Hazelnut running through it that set within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Nutkins Face Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Almond scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit more Ground Hazelnut to give my Skin an even deeper amount of exfoliation.
