Some of my favourite Bird & Blend Tea Company Teas definitely have to be any of their more Cocktail flavoured Teas, like Bucks Fizz, Mojitea, Peach & Elderflower Belini, and Pina Colada, as i’m more of a Cold-Brew drinker and they work really well as Cold-Brew Teas. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Mocktail collection, which includes Apy Spritz, and Spicy Margarita, I obviously had to pop down to my local Bird & Blend Tea Company store and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Pouch of Apy Spritz Loose Leaf Tea, and a Pouch of Spicy Margarita Loose Leaf Tea, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Bird & Blend Tea Company say about both delicious tasting Teas.

‘Appy Hour, but make it Tea! With notes of Citrus & just the right amount of bite, this brand new, limited edition blend is the perfect Brew to enjoy as a refreshing Tea Mocktail.
We love this blend Cold Brewed in Tonic Water with a Slice of Orange for a glass that will have you glowing inside & out! Appy Spritz is a refreshing Rooibos blended with a little Sri Lankan Black Tea for a bold Brew that will transport you to Sunny Shores.
It’s all about balance so on chillier days when the Party’s on pause, Appy Spritz is delish as a Hot Brew too. Cheers!

It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak and basically just tasted of really sweet Water, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer that it tasted extremely sour and just tasted of Sweet Blackberry Leaves. It also said that you were supposed to brew it for six hours if you wanted to Cold Brew it, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I couldn’t really taste any of the Lemon Pieces, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer all i could really taste was the Rooibos and Sri Lankan Black Tea.
It’s taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Rooibos, Bitter Orange Peel, Sweet Blackberry Leaves, Sri Lankan Black Tea, Hibiscus, Orange Peel, Lemon Pieces, Marigold Flowers, and Natural Flavour, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and sharp yet ever so slightly alcoholic Aperol Spritz taste to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Aperol Spritz on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive rectangular resealable Paper Pouch which meant that all of the Tea Leaves stayed extremely fresh and didn’t lose any of their delicious flavour.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Apy Spritz Loose Leaf Tea a nine out of ten ,and the Bird & Blend Tea Company Spicy Margarita Loose Leaf Tea an eight out of ten. I really liked the Bird & Blend Tea Company Apy Spritz Loose Leaf Tea, as I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious fresh and sharp yet ever so slightly alcoholic Aperol Spritz taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I also thought that it was rather dangerous, as whenever I brewed it in either Lemonade or Tonic Water, I couldn’t actually tell that it didn’t contain Alcohol. I really liked the Bird & Blend Tea Company Spicy Margarita Loose Leaf Tea, as I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Spicy Margarita taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit of Lime to simulate the taste of the Lime and Salt rim that you get whenever you order a Spicy Margarita.
