Sharing Lots Of Happiness & Cheer This Christmas | The Body Shop Cherries & Cheer Range

One of my favourite scents, especially when it comes to things like Bath & Body Care, definitely has to be Cherry, as I absolutely love its delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Cherry scent. Unfortunately though, a decent Cherry scent that I actually like has been increasingly difficult to find lately, as most brands tend to blend it with things like Almond, Summer Fruits, or Vanilla. That’s why when I had heard that The Body Shop had released a Cherries & Cheer range that claims to contain Sweet Cherry Fruit Extract, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Cherries & Cheer Shower Gel, a Tub of the Cherries & Cheer Body Butter, a Bottle of the Cherries & Cheer Body & Massage Oil, a Tube of the Cherries & Cheer Hand Balm, and a Bottle of the Cherries & Cheer Body & Space Mist, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what The Body Shop say about all five delicious smelling products.

The Body Shop Cherries & Cheer Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Sodium Gluconate, Butylene Glycol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Sweet Cherry Fruit Extract, Denatonium Benzoate, and CI 17200/Red 33, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you blend up an entire Punnet of perfectly ripened Cherries to make a Smoothie.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Gel Body Lotion rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Body Gel into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved its scent, as even though it contained Water, Shea Butter, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cocoa Seed Butter, Polyglyceryl-3 Distearate, Sunflower Seed Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethyl Citrate, Glyceryl Stearate, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethicone, Sesame Seed Oil, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Xanthan Gum, Tocopherol, Butylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Sweet Cherry Fruit Extract, Eugenol, Citral, and CI 17200/Red 33, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you blend up an entire Punnet of perfectly ripened Cherries to make a Smoothie.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Butter, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cleansing Butter rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Body Butter.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Cleansing Butter into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Butter that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with an Aluminium screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Tocopherol, Benzyl Alcohol, Eugenol, and Citric Acid, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you blend up an entire Punnet of perfectly ripened Cherries to make a Smoothie.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body & Massage Oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum rather than a thick and oily yet ever so slightly runny Body & Massage Oil.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Body & Massage Oil that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, much healthier and smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, it would have been nice if it had come with some kind of a Pump so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hand Balm, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Balm rather than a thick and greasy yet ever so slightly waxy Hand Balm.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hands, it turned from an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Balm into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Hand Balm that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds..

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry for at least twenty minutes after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short and thin conical Aluminium Tube with a screw top Lid that fitted really easily into my Pocket.

A tall cylindrical clear glass bottle full of some clear liquid with a silver metal lid and a bright pink label that has The Body Shop Cherries & Cheer Body & Space Mist written in dark green writing and a picture of some bright Red Cherries on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, PEG – 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Alcohol Denat., Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Eugenol, Citral, and Denatonium Benzoate, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you blend up an entire Punnet of perfectly ripened Cherries to make a Smoothie.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the Morning, and I could still strongly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have a Cup of Tea at about three o’clock in the Afternoon. I also really liked how long this lasted in the Air, as whenever I used it as a Room Mist, it filled my entire Room with it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Red Cherry scent that lasted for  at least two or three hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Glass Bottle with a metallic Spray Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
